"Masters of Disguise" it's something I have to disagree. That hair of Jessie be in color or weight it's very difficult to ignore. And there is the fact there almost always a talking Meowth with them. So I prefer to think everyone the main characters have the size of a nut. Maybe people who never meet them I can forgive (kinda) but I swallow the fact Ash still fall in the old trick of that very obvious disguise of them! And there still people who wonder why there is people who hate that boy a lot (me include).

But I can agree with the rest. They indeed have more competence in other areas who is not battle, because it's need very much psychology mind to not suffer in stress after take so many jobs at the same time. And indeed in contests, Jessie is pretty decent, and James be almost a Heart with blue hair he indeed have a mind to remember info (wish I he could ACTUALLY make good use of his knowledge, but since it's a child anime, the villains don't have grown of character).

And yeah, they may sturdy those Thunderbolt, I give credit with that, but that's just because Gamefreak don't have the guts to kill or put aside those useless characters.

Well, let's not forget it was the same guy who was beat by the say child again and have his plans ruined. And who also lost control of Mewtwo, have the laboratory destroyed and a vengeful Artificial Pokemon who could easily tear him appart with a simple though. And who even his counter part of other universe where he form the Team Rainbow Rocket and ALL of them have Legendary Pokemon, who is literally GODS, they were crushed, AGAIN, by 11 years child.

...now that I stop to think of it, I may have a relationship of love and hate with Pokemon. Both games and anime. There a lot of things that I love a lot, like the universe, lore and Pokemons, but I have quite a lot some characters in the anime version, and also some in the game version. It's I who have a problem and I simple being a hater? Or this hate or dislike have fundamental?

Honestly, I think the 'obvious disguises' are done in part so the audience knows it's J&J, tbh.  Again, mostly for comic relief.  Call it a suspension of disbelief if you will.

The whole 'beaten by a 10-15 year old' trope that pokemon has going on is in part due to said protagonists a) having plot armor because they have to due to the nature of video games and b) being pkemon training prodigies that eventually become or already are Champions who have befriended at least 1 Legendary (with the exception of Red).  If someone with Champion level skill is interfering in your affairs, you're gonna be in for a rough time no matter what.

In the case of Mewtwo, he's kinda almost impossible to control on a permanent basis (unless you're a protagonist or RR Giovanni, who can even Mega Evolve Mewtwo).  The fact that Giovanni managed to control him for any length of time at all is fairly impressive (and he wasn't shy about using Mewtwo either, given that he absolutely crushed Gary with Mewtwo in the anime).

RR Giovanni was also the only member of the team who got away with not getting sent back to his home dimension as soon as he was beaten.  He's still scheming out there somewhere...

Honestly, I don't think I'm qualified to answer that last question of yours.  I will say that I think there is definitely some bias in your arguments (given some of the wording you've used), but I do appreciate that you're actually holding an actual discussion with me.  Taking a step back and analyzing your own arguments can be a good thing to do, if I'm being blunt.
