The sagely monk smiles at Brazen's eagerness to accept his advice, then he closed his eye and frown in thought, gathering what he learned about Goodra in this battle and comparing it against what he already knew about Pokemon/training, review and 'analyzed' all of such, before he came to a final assessment.
"Hm......Goodra is bulky enough, so you should.....focus on increasing their power. If they can not.....set up, then need to focus on improving natural Strength to.....composate. Took my buffed Lovely long time to.....wear your Dragon, but they took even longer to really hurt Lovely, so making them more powerful would.......create good balance between Offense and Defense. Hm.....said that Goodra Status healed by water? And it Evolved in the rain? *Nods* Ability must be Hydration then, and your Dragon has.......strong tie to Water. If so, maybe it can learn Rain Dance, and other Water Moves. Rain Dance would......protect Goodra from Status, even Confusion from its Outrage, and.......make any Water Moves it learns stronger. Make them lot harder to take down. "
"Hm.......Goodra reminds me of Swalot line too, since it is slimy and bulky like them. Swalot line has......potential to learn Acid Armor and Curse, so maybe Goodra does too? If so, that would mean it can learn set up Move after all. Hm.....finally, if it can learn or knows Moves that cause Status or cause problems for opponents, like Dragon Breath, should learn them or use them more. Hindering foes just as good as buffing your Pokemon, so.....take advantage of that if you can. Like I did with Lovely, *Nods*. And......that is all. Hope my advice helps make your Goodra Better, Brazen."
After finishing up his lengthy but (hopefully) Insightful speal on improving Goodra, he opened his eyes and scanned them over the shieldmaidan, frowning thoughtfully at their unusual appearance (I assume they are dressed as a Shieldmaiden, correct me if I am wrong) and the immense might it belayed, then looked back to her, curiousity brimming in his posture.
"What sort of Trainer are you? Never seen someone like you before, and you are strong, so I would like to know so I can......keep look out for them to challenge later. How did you get so strong too? Already tough myself, but can always learn new ways to make myself tougher. What other Pokemon are your partner too? Might want to keep look out for them too."
*Beat*
"Could you also tell me more about Safari Zone? And what is......most dangerous part, with the toughest Pokemon? Crowd of people say you have experience, so you should know lots about it. Please?"
Well, there's that lack of social know how, deluging poor Brazen with a bucket load of questions! Hopefully they won't mind it too much, or only tell him off lightly for it!
Meanwhile, Lapis is frankly amazed with the Recovery he undertook and how much better he looked and felt, before a wide grin broke out across his snout. Oh, now that was a very useful trick, now and yet to come.....
Later on, Terra's sorta boggles at his Mikey leaping sky high and knocking the lights out of a Pidgy and then promptly presented to him like a trophy, before he gives them a small smile and pats them on the head, and then catches the Pidgey with a Pokeball and to the PC (Which really should be a non-issue at this point). He couldn't just reject such a gift after seeing his shroom bro so proud of him, so he'll catch it for their shake. He'll just give to Melly as snack later in private, and recycle the Pokeball.
Later later on, the rugged wanderer would happen upon the camping stores, and make some purchases with the wealth he received from Brazen: A Hyper Potion to replace the one he spent, guide books and maps of the Safari Zone (So he can educate himself more on it for volunteer work/later), Digging Gear (Could come in handy, and he won't always have Angie around), a Super Rod (He's always want to try his hand at fishing properly!), and a sizable quantity of that fruit preserve, fresh fruit, and herbs (if it wouldn't 'cost nothing', as Terra loves him some produce, and he's inspired by the cooking show to 'experiment' a little with ingredients [+ 1 Science: Chemistry for 6 XP!]). The Hyper Potion should cost $1200, but what about the rest of the stuff? Base price of a basic fishing Rod is $500, but Terra's looking to purchase a much higher quality reel, and who knows what the other stuff costs.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
