PAnd as an FYI, I've actually been trying to flex some of my own storytelling capabilities with the whole Reiner and Taylor backstory thing, in order to practice for my own campaign stuff when it kicks off.  I've been happy with how it's turned out so far, but I definitely would like to hear some overall thoughts on how I've been doing, what with my test campaign looming on the horizon.

You're doing a great job with your story crafting, character reactions, Pokemon characterizations, and simply painting a very evocative scene/response for each post you make (to the point that I don't have to write as much, since you're doing such a good job at everything!). If you've been using the tail end of my campaign to bone up on your writing skills for your test campaign, then you're doing an excellent job of it! 

Only thing I would recommend as of now is trying to establish what a character is doing or what is/is not happening in the background while they are talking/doing stuff. Stuff like how a character is moving their body about as they speak, or describing the general mood of the characters/situation in a less personal fashion. Internal thoughts and great dialogue is all good, but having those kinds of interludes can spice things up and prevent those other aspects of writing from becoming to monotonous. Just don't get into the habit of overwritting them, like me!
