As Terra turns to leave, Nathan almost doesn't manage to say something, but he does at the very last moment.

"...Terra, why did you...are you sure you want to just...give all of that to me, no questions asked about what I'm going to do with it and why, nor asking for anything in return?"  Suffice to say, Nathan's still kinda surprised, mostly because Terra kinda just did the opposite of what merchants usually do as far as Nathan can tell...

And to say the least, I also wasn't quite expecting the conversation to go in this direction...

The sagely monk does pause when the boy expressed disbelief at his decision to simply correct their low amount of funds, halting mid-stride and thinking about it briefly, before turning his head back to them and nodded.

"Yes. You needed money, so I give it to you. Helping a friend.....it is always a good investment. That...is that."

His tone was direct and casual, as if he was just speaking a simple, casual truth.

If nothing else is said, Terra resumes his departure, like nothing particularly impactful happened. For to him, nothing really did. Just helping Nathan out. Simple as that.
