Well, since you're bringing me into this...

I'm not as naive about this as you think.  I recorded every single one of those weapons (with the sole exception of M.E.) only as 'supposedly destroyed' for a reason.

I just want them out of my hair, and for all of them to stay out of it.  And I don't appreciate you jabbing at me in the slightest.

*lets out a breath and tries to cool off for a moment*

...apologies to anyone reading this since I don't usually blow my top like this, but I needed to speak my mind in this instance.

Tsk tsk tsk, temper temper, puppetor! We wouldn't want you to end up embodying your tile, and have the odious burden of living with the consequences of such OUTRAGING reactions, yes? Or are the sort that likes to live dangerously, hm? I would hope not, if only for the sake of the drake dangling from your strings. Windos would do an adequate enough job bandying them about, if necessary, but nobody could make them put on a performance quite like you, hehehe....

Oh no, I'm aware you're a rather astute and clever headed person, and the news you bring is old hat to me indeed. It's why I only called you and my horrible sister only hilariously naive, instead of simply the most adorable and inept of fools. Hehehe......then again, arguing and taking such a deplorable attitude with me could be considered the very epitome of foolishness for a whole suite of reasons and by many definitions. Either that, or courageous beyond belief, but from personal experience I've seen that excessive levels of courage and foolishness are so similar as to make no odds, so I guess we come to the same conclusion regardless of the route taken, eh?

Fortunately for you, I've always found your insolence and defiance charming and highly amusing entertainment - or perhaps entertainingly amusing? Or, dare we say, both? HeheheheHA! Oh......anyway, I have no desire to inconvenience you, so continue on being so plucky Dragonstrike! It never ceases to amuse, hehehe.....

I could go on, but I won't. All good and fun in moderation, especially when it comes at the expense of others so less fortunate than yourself. I do hope you enjoy the rest of the story poor Windos crafts - they've taken a great many liberties with it to give you a ending you'd be happy and satisfied with, after all.

Hmmmm...did a little thinking about/research into what kinds of non-Flying type moves might count as 'wind' based.  Whatcha think of this list, @Lord Windos?

List of Wind Based Moves and Explanations

These ones are all fairly obvious since the word 'wind' is included in their names:
- Icy Wind (which Hope can also already learn, unlike every single other move besides Twister on this list [disregarding the AOM])
- Whirlwind (would probably need its effect modified.  Maybe it can also replace Roar in Hope's level up moves?  That makes a little sense to me, tbh)
- Silver Wind
- Ominous Wind
- Fairy Wind
- Razor Wind (might skip the Charge time?)
- Heat Wave (Okay, it's less obvious, but it's Japanese name is literally 'Hot Wind', which is why so many Flying types can learn it)
- Nuclear Wind

Interesting Notes about these moves: 
- The only (canon) Flying types that can learn Icy Wind without having any association to Ice or Water are the Murkrow line, Skarmormy, the Drifloon line, Sigilyph, and Oricorio.  (And Skarmory is the odd one out.  Not only is it the least mystical of the bunch, it can't even learn the move from the Gen 2 TM, only being able to learn it via tutoring in later generations)
- Silver Wind and Ominous Wind are teachable to a larger variety of Flying types than Icy Wind, but Silver Wind is generally more limited in its selection due to both being a TM in Gen 4 (and Uranium) only and typically only being able to be taught to more 'mystical' Flying types (Togekiss, Xatu, Drifloon, Noctowl, Jumpluff...and Tropius, surprisingly.  Oh, and Flygon's technically on the list, too) if they aren't part Bug.
- Fairy Wind is usable by exactly one evolution line that isn't part Fairy type: Jumpluff's! (though it's partially because they're in the Fairy egg group as well as being Flying types associated with drifting on the wind)



These ones are more implied based on the nature and/or description of the moves in question:
- Twister (which Hope already knows, unlike all the other moves on this list)
- Petal Blizzard
- Powder Snow
- Blizzard (can't blow around ice, snow, and petals without a little wind, right?)
- Sparkly Swirl (unlikely to ever come up since it's one of Partner Eevee's signature moves, but it is described as 'wrapping the target in a whirlwind of an overpowering scent', unlike Aromatherapy's simple scent emission.  It's Japanese name is also 'Sparkly Storm')

Interesting Notes about these moves:
- The only Flying types that can learn how to use Powder Snow are all part Ice type, and only Flying types with some kind of association with Water or Ice can learn Blizzard
- Petal Blizzard is only usable by Grass types and Flower associated Fairy types (none of which are part Flying) in the canon games, for obvious reasons


And then there's the oddballs...

- There's Sandstorm I suppose, but given the nature of Typhoon being an Extreme Weather (which is the term I'll use to also refer to Mysterious Air Currents, Heavy Rain, and Extremely Harsh Sunlight, the weathers caused by the Weather Trio's signature Abilities), that'd have to be a rather weird interaction if the Typhoon didn't outright override the Sandstorm...(the other major weathers don't necessarily require wind to be activated, unlike a Sandstorm)

- You could also MAYBE argue Clear Smog could use wind as the basis of the attack to blow the smog away instead of throwing 'special mud' (which is the description in the games) or acting as a vacuum of sorts (which is the Pokerole interpretation)...I'm kinda iffy on that one since the original descriptions don't quite fit the concept of using wind, tbh, but it could be justifiable, I guess.

- You could probably also include Glaciate since it's basically a souped up Icy Wind (blowing cold air onto the target, just stronger...but not strong enough for it to be 3+ Power according to the book's general Move Power conventions without being Plot Deviced, ironically.  Move's with 70+ power in the games are typically 3+ Power in the book.  40-65 is usually 2, and less than 40 is 1.), but that's also really unlikely to come up alongside Typhoon weather's effect.

Also, another thought: if Fly gets to skip its Charge time, would Razor Wind, Bounce, Sky Drop, and Sky Attack do so as well?



And one more thought: should Thunderstorm be replaced in Hope's level up moves with a different weather summoning move that can resummon her Typhoon Weather?  (and given that it's the most expensive move in her level up movepool if you don't count Draco Meteor, it could still be reasonable, too)

Hmm......yeap, that whole list looks right and sound to me!

 You can replace Roar with Whirlwind on Hope's Level Up list, and if she learns the Move I'll create new mechanics for it under T.S.

Sandstorm will become more relevant to Hope as she Evolves, as will Rain, but that is all I will say about that matter for now.

Clear Smog won't count, since I consider it being more a Poison/Cleaning Move than a true 'Wind' Move.

Hope can learn all Wind based Moves at some point along the line, even Shadow and Nuclear Wind Moves if you don't mind temporarily find a way to close her heart or let her hold the Uranium Slug long enough. Right now, though, she's restricted to the Wind Moves she can learn now, and via TM/Tutor.

Razor Winds would skip the Charge Time and become Lethal + Hi Crit, Bounce would still have charge but would deal 2X its normal Damage Dice Roll (Its not a true Wind Move, but all the momentum generated by the favorable Extreme Weather would be quite effective in smashing into things from on high), Sky Drop would work the same (It takes time/care to bring up the target up high + Auto Flinch them), and Sky Attack doesn't need Charge, but can Charge it anyway for Always Accurate and Auto Extra Lethal Sniper Critical Hit against a Target that has a 7D6 to Flinch - Otherwise, the Move loses its effects in T.S. in exchange for spammable raw power. Hope/Any Pokemon with Charging Sky Attack would get auto Crited in turn, but its a worthy trade off imo for such an overkilling effect.

I'd say that you could replace Thunderstorm with Typhoon , but I say its redundant to go after it, since a Damp Rock and/or partnering her up with a Damp Pokemon would extend her weather for enough time to destroy anything short of the Ultra Strong or Legends. If you want to grab it, though, okay with me!
