Reiner remains as calm as can be as he responds to Taylor's question.  "...hell if I know the exact reason, Taylor.  All I know right now is that she's strong enough to tear a room like this to shreds without even thinking about it, she's able to talk telepathically; which probably has something to do with one of the moves she knows, there's a lot of things she needs to learn, she's apparently a fast learner given how quickly she's learning new words as soon as we say them only once, and she's got that emblem on her chest that looks nothing like Lucy's did.  That, and she's definitely calling me 'daddy', even though I only just got her egg when it hatched.  Even just looking at all of that at a glance, I think it's safe to say she's probably a lot more than a normal Volchik.  Whatever the Elders did, I don't think it worked the way anyone expected it too.  Particularly if she...looks like...Rayquaza...ya know, now that you say it, she doesn't quite look like the pictures of Rayquaza that I've seen before...I thought the color scheme looked familiar, but something about it...doesn't seem quite the same...I can't quite put my finger on why, though..."  


[OOC: Reiner's not familiar with what Mega Rayquaza looks like, as most of the lore surrounding M-Rayquaza specifically is centered in Hoenn and told by the Draconid People, and isn't necessarily something a 'typical' Tohjo Dragon Tamer would know as the Dragon Clans from other regions are different from the Draconid People.]

Reiner definitely helps Taylor get herself propped up so she can summon her personal doc, but then he needs to deal with this situation with Lucy's chick.  "...excuse me for one second while I talk to the newborn, Taylor.  And mind your language for a second, please.  Yes, I know I'm not exactly in a position to preach about that, given my own tendencies, but let's try to not create any more problems on top of already existing ones.  I'd rather not have to listen to a kid repeat swear words over and over if it's all the same to you."

Reiner kneels in front of the chick soon afterwards, sternly yet gently saying, "...now, I don't want to hear you using those words over and over like that, alright?  It's rude, and more than likely to get both you and me into trouble we don't need to get into.  And we don't want to get into trouble, right?  I know I don't.  Particularly when there are bad people out there who would do anything to take you away from those who care for you.  And if we get into trouble, then they might find us.  And I don't want them to find us and take you away.  There's a time and a place for such language, but now is NOT that time.  Understood?"

Hopefully that gets the point across to the little green Volchik.

The thief extraordinaire does not look very mollified as you rationalized Hope's unique talents and regal appearance, but she was intrigued enough to not interrupt you once and completely pay attention. After you finished, she stared at you with a semi-incredulous, semi-perplexed expression, before letting out an explosive *SIGH...* and shakes her head, looking rather exasperated and frustrated by it all.

"Great. Great. The Elders ended up breeding a wonder child out of my girl Lucy that has more than a passing resemblance to mother-err, loving Rayquaza, The Supreme Dragon King of the Skies at his most powerful, and we have bugger of an idea of what's behind it all. Did I mention how great that was? Well, it bloody isn't, but it sure is heck a great big pain in the rear end. Urgh.....I don't know whether or not I want to throttle those old ba-err...coots even more for playing mad scientist on Lucy to genetically engineer her girl into a bleeding demi-god, or just settle for 'only' stealing more their precious nick nacks as thanks for their hard work. *Sighs* .....Well, nothing else to it but for us to raise Lucy's girl right while piecing together everything that makes her special, and trying our dang best we don't fu-err....screw up too badly and make a devil child out of her, instead of divine. Sheesh.....what a responsibility."
Great? More? Rayquaza? Supreme....Dragon King? Skies? Bugger? Bloody? Throttle? Demi....God? Thanks? Hard....work? Special? Devil? Divine? Sheesh? Re....sponsibility? Mmm.....Words! Many Words! Know Many Words!
"Oh, and about her appearance......well, I think I may know a sminge more about that. Long story short, I stole some scrolls from some Dragon Tamer back in Hoen - some tiny black hair girl, never got her name - , and they had some pretty interesting info on Rayquaza. One bit I read is that he apparently has some kind of 'super form' to deal with big threats, and they vaguely described it looking like........well, *Points at Hope* just like her. Included an illustration of what they called 'His Dragon Lord Delta Emblem' , which as far as I can tell is identical to her's. *Shakes head* don't have a clue what's up with that, or if their's a greater connection other than Lucy's child being like Rayquaza's super form, but hey, at least its something."

Hmm......Taylor's sticky fingers have come in handy once more, and what interesting details they bring to the table.....

Also, you notice she was being much more mindful of what she was saying around Hope, so she was also following your request too. Now you don't have to worry about her teaching the barometric birdy anymore naughty words, at least for now! Hurrah!

Once you prop her up, she wastes no time in summoning her person doc 'Mon, whose form coalesced into what looked to be a small purple and pink plague doctor, who took one good look at their surrounding before their hands flew up to their face in mortified shock. Oh dear dear dear, what in Xerneas' name happened here here here!? Some much devastation, so many casualties, and great deal vexation! Ack ack ACK!!!
Hmm? Who That? Smells.......Sweet And Nasty? Huh? How???
Before the medical practitioner could further react, though, your old partner was quick to bark out orders for them to follow, looking stern yet amused, like their doc's behavior was something she was long accustomed too.

"Cathy, patch me up quickly! Hop to it, before I have time to feel even more terrible!"
Patch Up? Hop? Huh?
The now revealed Cathy jolted at their master's commands, before they snapped into an almost comical salute, then extended both their arms towards Taylor and wobbled their fingers, and out came two pulses of sparkling pink energy from them!

Instantly, the thief extraordinaire looked much better, springing off you and doing a twirl as she cackled in relief.

"Now that's the stuff! *Looks at Cathy* Okay, let's go Revive everyone else now, while Reiner - Yes that Reiner - talks with Lucy baby girl, who's his baby girl now! Come on, let's go!"

As the two of them rushed off to treat everyone, you hunker down and lecture you turbulent tyke, which cause her to noticeably wilt and tuck her head close to her chest in sadness and mollification. Oh no, did she disappoint Daddy saying those words Grandmommy yelled? Make him mad?? No, no! Not good, not good! She sorry, she sorry!

You could feel and almost hear her internal panic and shame at your light scolding, and you could see that she was now actively avoiding your gaze, covering eyes with both her wings.
Understood, understood! No use Grandmommy's words, no use anymore! Sorry Daddy! Sorry Sorry Sorry!
.....Well, you've learned yet another thing about your divine daughter now: she's a real sensitive soul, and gets REAL worked up at even slightly making you unhappy with her. At least, at this stage in her development. Welp, that's going to make her easier AND harder to deal with.

Also, maybe you should specify which words she was not to say? She is a child, despite being a smart one, so she may have misinterpreted your request and took it as to not say any word that Taylor speaks, instead of just the cursing. That would quickly become a problem if not taken care of, to say the least. Wouldn't hurt to clarify regardless too, so.....yeah?
