Sounds very reasonable.

While investigating the feather's location, a Gloom happens along! It's not missing any petals, per se, but there are some wounds that look recently healed with human medicine. It immediately takes up a battle stance.
How lovely, the stinky smell is probably the thing Shiva realizes before even seeing that Gloom properly. Naturally she flinches a bit from that but she mostly does so because of the poisonous traits of that flower, at the same time she can't help but to laugh mentally about that ironic coincidence. For a one or two seconds Shiva only stares at the Gloom that came along - then she decides to try something that likely appears very uncharacteristically for anyone knowing her well enough. She's having reasons however:
- That Gloom lives here, it might have seen something that is in relation to the feather.
- How the rays of the sun manifested in a glowing stone 'cure' Gloom of its poisonous aspect fascinates Shiva a lot.
- She can't afford to let a single Safari Ball break.
In contrary to Gloom Shiva does not take a stance of BattleBattleBattle, she even gestures to Lilith and Primal Glaceon to stand a little back - the icy Eeveelution appears very relieved as his sense of smell it much more sensitive than a human's. Raphael's Loyalty to Shiva feels not high enough yet to come darting down the sky to boldly face a poisonous Pokemon without her calling for his aid; towards Ventus he'd surely do. Shiva herself raises her hands protectively in front of herself.
"Gloom, please calm down...", she'll adress it softly but directly, "Please don't attack, as otherwise I have to fire back which I don't want to. I'm having good Ice, Flying, Fire and Psychic moves in my arsenal and come in superior numbers so you wouldn't have a chance, I DON'T want to hurt you however. In fact, I belong to those whose task it is for today to care for Pokemon like you, it appears a human and their Pokemon have attacked you recently and you fled or hid once having enough? Soon, a human with a smiliar cloak like me appeared to heal you up, correct? Look, we're always carrying around a first aid-kit around for that reason." She'll show Gloom the one she's been given for her duties. "So please, don't act in panic towards me and my Pokemon and instead stay, let us talk a little. Alright? You enjoy living here in the area where occassionally humans wander? Say, are you maybe hungry after your recent fight? I've got lots of good berries with me."
It takes Shiva a loooot of will to act the way she does, though she seems to do a fine job on that and appears all well. Her hands tremble a bit which she hides and downplays, she ignores the adrenaline slowly increasing within her.
Quote:If Gloom doesn't kill you, here's what you find:
Rarity: (6) Nothing! You find the fairly common Urlat bush, which can be used to make UltraSnax. You have enough for 3 Snax. Nighsthade finds those; guess she's hungry.
The angelic feathers appears to Shiva as if it has appeared out of thin air, and it either must be 'protected' by heavenly forces in some way or it wasn't laying there for long as otherwise it would not sbe o perfectly intact. The Fortune Hunter will be her next attempt to find out more, Shiva will turn to her once having the time.
She happily accepts the gathered bush branches from her sunbringer - Will it take up a new Encounter for Shiva to prepare 3 Snax from them?
