When you have a stellar Teleporter and a Pokemon doc plus whatever energy drinks or medicines on hand, travel time ain't an issue, except in science fiction, tabloid rags on science, or if the dread Time Lord (Diagla) or the Evergreen Lady (Celebi) are involved. Since you're interested, I'll tell you about that job in Hoen later. Fair warning its not that neat of a tale, but I still think you'll get a kick out of it.

Your old partner rolls her eyes with a smile when you start hypothesizing about Dragons, as it was an old event she had grown used time before exile (If you have anything Reiner might find funny/affable about Taylor too, bring it up and I'll work it in!), but when you mention you had methods of gathering actual intel it caused her to raise a brow.

"Really? Tried figuring out more about these scrolls myself, but hit several dead ends with nothing to show for it, and my sources are always legit. *Shrugs* If your have a way of scrounging up dirt on the Supreme Dragon Lord himself and not get smited, though, then god speed in digging for it!"
Legit? Scrounging.....Dirt? Smite? Hm.....Already Smite.....Hurricane EX Here? Or......God Speed.....Extreme Speed Everything??
Your next comment didn't raise any alarms with her, but she did look vaguely intrigued none the less. "Huh.......Lucy's girl has a good set of instincts on her. Took my girl half a walk before she started thinking of me as her mom, and forever to get her to listen without trouble, but your girl seems quick on the take and friendly as can be. Kinda weird being a granny to someone at my age, and Lucy's probably going have a small freakout about that on top of her daughter being so......different that her, but eh, I'm fine with it, and I'll make sure my girl is too."

The barometric birdy instantly perks back up once she hears your lightened tone, and as you clarify things she regains more and more of her cheer, before she starts chirping with excessive glee!

She got it! She also naturally adores properly getting her name, and does wonders for bolstering her hopeful spirits. First few moments of parenting: Success!

By the time you're done lecturing/naming/bonding with Hope, Taylor and Cathy have already brought everyone/Mon back ton consciousness, with Kingdra at 6/11 HP, Lucy looking fine enough but still on the rough side, and Mr. Mime looking impeccable if severely bedraggled. Reactions to the hatching are mixed.The thief extraordinaire herself is tending to the dragoness for now and explaining what the hecky happened to them, with Kingdra's [Insert What You Want Here],  Lucy's being.....stunned, to say the least, while the psychic butler is leaning up against an wall, overlooking the carnage with wide eyes and a hand on his chest, taking deep breaths looking shaken and harrowed.

Cathy for her part looked very worn out after healing/Reviving everyone, but they quickly sprang back to top physical condition after a minute or two, then reached in their robes and pulled out what appeared to be an PP Up, unscrewed the cap, downed it, and subsequently looked completely revitalized as well! Heal Pulse Count for Encounter/Next 4 Hours Reset to 5!

 Huh.....the plague doctor can use Man Made Items too on top of their powers........very useful combination right there.

Eh?  Well, either Hope actually does have fourth wall breaking abilities, or she already knows the names of her fellow Legends somehow...hmmm...

...and Hope brought up an interesting point to further all of that...she already knows what all of her direct family relations are and then some, despite not having met any of them in the flesh after her hatching...hmmmm...her instincts definitely seem to be a bit more than 'good', to be honest...

...and Reiner's definitely picked up on it.  If he wants to talk to Hope about it, though, it's probably going to have to be saved for later, for obvious reasons.

When Hope speculates what 'smite' and 'god speed' might mean, Reiner says to her, "...well, I suppose you could say those moves fit the words' meanings.  That's probably not what grandmommy meant when she said them, though.  'God speed' is actually more along the lines of wishing someone good luck.  Smite...well, you've got the definition of that down already, but I probably don't have to worry about you purposely striking me for doing a little research, right?  The intended meaning of that comment is that grandmommy doesn't think I'll be able to learn much about Rayquaza's true power without actually seeing it for myself, which would probably involve making him angry. And for our own safety, we probably don't want to make Rayquaza angry."

Ah, good, so everyone is at least standing back up again.  Good.  Except there's one who was left out of that headcount, and unless he managed to escape that windstorm unscathed, I think he might be a little cross with a certain narrator for forgetting about him...

That individual being Weavile, of course.

As for Kingdra's reaction to Hope's hatching...well, she's a little awed by how much sheer power she can feel radiating from the newly named Hope.  She also thinks Hope is adorable, and that she still looks a little like Lucy did as a Volchik despite looking almost completely different in most aspects.  She's definitely not fawning over the newborn, though, as she's slid right up to Lucy to make sure her friend is okay, tilting her head and staring in such a way to ask the Stormbringer as much.  Mobility isn't a massive problem for her at the moment because she's holding the Divine Water and her Ability is still Swift Swim for the time being, so it's a much smoother movement than Taylor and Lucy were probably expecting from a land bound Kingdra that (as far as they know) has Sniper for her Ability.

Eventually, Reiner looks at Mr. Mime, considers something...then pulls the TM for Heal Pulse out of his bag and a Luxury Ball.  Moments later, out comes Poe!
...?
...who then proceeds to look around the room and wonder what the heck just happe...
...!  Hi!
Eep!  Where did that voice come from?!  Poe scurries behind Reiner, most certainly startled!
...?
Poe pokes his head out from behind Reiner carefully when the thing that startled him doesn't seem to be trying to spook him any further.  Hope looks at the furry creature curiously, head tilted, as bird pokemon are wont to do when looking at something potentially interesting.
...Hi?
Poe carefully looks back at the strange, green bird.  Did they just...?
Yes!  Hi!
The little chick's burst of energy coupled with a short hop forwards in excitement startles Poe somewhat again, and he pops out of her sight once more.  Reiner chuckles.  It figures Hope would want to be extra friendly with a pokemon that's currently closer to being the same size as her, given that everyone else in this room is much bigger than she is.  "Sorry to startle you, Poe, but meet Hope. She's only just hatched from her egg, just so you're aware. She has a lot to learn, and is very eager to learn it all, it seems.  Hope, this is Poe.  Be a little more gentle with him, alright?  He scares easily."
...Startle?  ...Scare?  Be Gentle?  Oh, Sorry Sorry, Poe!
Poe peeks out from behind Reiner again once things have settled down a little, then looks up at the Dragon Tamer questioningly.  So...why's he been summoned?  Is his help needed?

Reiner's response to Poe's question: "Yep, if you could help out a little, that'd be great.  As you can see, a bit of a mess was made, and not everyone got out of it unscathed.  I've got the perfect TM to help with that, though, and I think you could probably learn it.  Would you like to learn Heal Pulse, Poe?"
