Forretress steals and eats a bit of pondweed Politoed was carrying. It was wrapped around a tiny, tiny piece of the mineral which forms King's Rocks over time.

Politoed has the ability to sniff out Kings Rocks nearby.

Upon hearing the haunting wail of Perish Song, Terra immediately perked up in alarm and gripped Basteele's Ultra Ball tighter. His Pokemon in the past had been on the receiving up of that Move and those like it, and he knew well that if he didn't return his partner quick enough she'd be out for the count - not even her Sturdiness would save her from that insidious serenade's effects....

Thankfully, his ironclad insect was able to dispatched the troublesome toad in with great expedience, and he after retrieves the weird but familiar minerals he recognized (Survival Skill comes in handy here!) she's safely put up and he easily captures the Fainted froggie and sends them off the PC. Not before he checks out its summery, though, which certainly caused his eyes to widened in interest as he studied it.

"This.....Politoed has great potential. *Nods* Will keep them. We will become great partners, and friends. *Mumbles* Hm.....need to research more about them too, so I can......train them right...."

All that declared, the sagely monk carefully cleared away the Spikes/Rocks from the water's edge (No need for them to trip up Wild Pokemon/Unlucky Trainers!), and then heads back to the communal center/marketplace to do the following: Buy 7 Pokeballs, 1 Great Ball, and 5 units of that Better Quality Bait, for a total cost of $4500 Poke, leaving him with $18300 Poke remaining. Those BQB's are just down right excellent at what they do (Hopefully they can be bought elsewhere than TV), and I need to restock on Pokeballs for future catches!

That being done, he'll then head off to the Center and rest for the night, as unlike Heart, Nathan, or Shiva he doesn't have any obligations that would keep him up past the usual sleeping hours! Passing the day fishing turned out to be an excellent, enjoyable, enriching (What with all the interesting and valuable Pokemon he'd caught), and easy going, so the mountain of a man considered his day truly well spent. What will tomorrow hold, though.....
