You are indeed correct, for her eyes totally bug out at the sight of the hissing hyrda, and she struggled hard not to break out in a fit of swearing (Least she teach Hope more naughty words and anger you).

"What that- you have access to Mega Arbok? I thought Arbokites only popped up in Tandor, last time I check, so how in the he-heck did you get your hands one AND a Key Stone! Da-Darn! Cathy, hard defense now! That snake's a real monster now, so treat it exactly like one!.

Unlike their partner, the doc was completely unphased by Arbok's transformation beyond felling a bit more sluggish, simply steppling its hands as they stared him down like a cadaver, ready to be autopsied. So so so, the Mega Arbok is trying to cause them woe woe woe. Tsk tsk, time to invert its wish wish.

Reiner Vs Taylor Round 6!

Immediately, the poisonous python whips forward, all its frosted maws aimed squarely at the dire doctor, who didn't even try to dodge out of the way!

Hissing in disgust and annoyance as they felt the rejuvenating fae power permeating the battlefield, the venomous viper instantly started to spew its most vile toxins at the questionable quack in retaliation!

The masked medic looked no worse for wear after being target by Mega Arbok's most powerful attack; in fact, they looked better. This REALLY cheeses off the hissing hydra, who proceeded to let out an cacophony of *HISSES!* before rapid firing more extremely caustic blasts of poison bile to take them down!

By the end of the Round, the questionable quack appeared a little worn down, but not really too badly affected by what happened. Meanwhile, the colossal cobra was incensed that he could quickly reap revenge and dominate the doc for the humilation of scaring him, glaring at them with all his many head that promised he'd melt them down, chomp them out, squeeze them tight, whatever it took to ensure that they'd Faint, and not him. He was not going to lose yet ANOTHER battle in a row this week again, so he's pulling out all the stops to take them down!!!

Taylor lets out a *Sigh* of relief, glad her back up plan worked out mostly okay.

"Whew.......glad Cathy managed to stand against that darn Mega Arbok of yours. Using it against me seem almost like cheating, but considering the trickery I pull, I guess fair's fair....."

Current Status:

Cathy: 9/13 HP, - 1 Pain
M-Arbok: Fresh, Coil Boosted; Cursed with increased frequency of Snakes Eyes due to being a snake, apparently, for that's the only explanation I have for why he gets so many of them. I made absolutely sure my dice were luck proofed, so at this point I blame him for being so dang unlucky. Seesh....

Reiner vs Taylor Round 7

Reiner's chuckling at having surprised Taylor again.  "You're not the only one with new tricks aplenty.  Funny story about that Arbokite, but I got that around the same time Sneasel got that Razor Claw.  That's a story for later, though.  Arbok, brute force!  If we can't cripple 'em, then we'll just have to try and muscle our way through!  Good news, though: they can't seriously cripple you either.  Go all in!  They can't switch, and they're not nearly as strong as you are, so there's no escape!"

That's the sound of all 8 heads spitting acid in Cathy's direction, not the sound of Arbok hissing menacingly!

And because Arbok is grounded, Misty Terrain protects him from statuses too.  No Attract, no Sweet Kiss...nothin'.  It's all raw power and who can outtank the other now.

In following Rounds, Arbok will use Gunk Shot 4 times (8/7/6/5 accuracy).  If Misty Terrain dissipates, then he'll resume using Ice Fang until it's set up again or Ice Fang is Disabled!

And if Gunk Shot ends up Disabled, Arbok will immediately Screech at Cathy in frustration and substitute all following Gunk Shots with Mud Bombs until his most powerful attack isn't Disabled any more!  (Yup, he knows Mud Bomb already.  He's known it since the start of the campaign, actually.  There's just never been a good reason to use it until now...)
