Taylor scoffs at you, not looking the least bit impressed or mollified, giving you a glare so deadpan you could fry an omelet on it.

"Don't try selling me that crap, partner, 'cause I ain't buying none of it. You could have told your brute not to use it, and I'd bet he'd listen to you, if his servile and zealous attitude is any indication. While we may be crooks using every advantage we can get, we are supposed have a friendly duel, not a no holds bar beatdown. And using or letting Horn Drill or any other OHKO is not and never a friendly Move to whip out and chunk a person's Pokemon.  So zip it and cram it with the excuses, for I'm not in the mood for them right now."

Yeouch. She's pretty Krabby right now, but who wouldn't be seeing their Pokemon instantly taken out, with no chance of recourse? 

She doesn't say anything else to you for now, but does bark out her orders to Kyle, smile back in place and dripping with viciousness.

"Kyle? Float, then Total Lockdown on that Delta Rhyperior. Screw him up, down, over, and through. I want them so blighted, not even Cathy couldn't fix them without a day's worth of care.

The key bearer looked startled by his master's orders, his many keys rattling their shock at that command, given how costly and drastic was, but never the less they regained their calm and gave her a cutely serious nod, before turning back to Rhyxemplar. Sorry friend, but what his master says, goes. 

Reiner Vs Taylor Round 13!

Before the metal kaiju could react, the thief's tool crackled with energy!

The lord protector, anticipating such trickery, change his plan of action, spinning around to nail the key chain with his great big:

A loud racket was generated as the fae keybearer was sent flying back, looking severely rattled for the heavy metal behemoth's clubbing. Never the less they sprang back forward with pep in their bounce, smilingly widely at them.....

....before his eyes lite up with Power.

In an instant, a MASSIVE pink glowing star shaped magical seal appear in front of Rhyxemplar, before it embraced him, scorching and binding into his armor that causes him to cry out in shock. Rhyxemplar is Blocked. His Steel type and all his Steel types Moves are Locked Away and Unavailable for Four Rounds. He will be treated as a Pure Ground type in terms of Defenses and Offenses.

At that moment, all his armor lost its Steel luster and turned a faded grey, and he staggered and fell to one knee, bracing himself off the ground with one arm. He was panting and sweating, his eyes shrunken inward as he tried to pull himself together after such a powerful Move. He....he felt so weak and vulnerable, and he knew an integral part of him had been denied to him. W-Wh.....what sort of sorcery was this? 

Across the arena, Taylor wildly swayed and for a moment collapsed into a heap on the group, but she let out a *Growl* and got to her feet, look and feeling haggered and utterly terrible.

"Not......going.......to........falter. Must.......stay........strong!"

You could hear her mumble this to herself in a wispy yet guttural tone, weak but still containing considerable amount of guts. 

Yikes. That Move was fierce-some, but it had one heck of a drawback.

Since all his Steel type Moves have been Locked Away/Unavailable, Rhyxemplar can not do any more Actions this Round.

Kyle himself seemed to agreed with the above sentiment, as he looked back worriedly at his master, before slowly turning back to his foe with solemn determination. His master was okay, and she gave him orders, so he must carry them out.

What followed was a series of Actions that seemed to heap more salt on the metal kaiju's wounds.

With that chaste and apologetic kiss, the Round concludes without fanfare, with Kyle looking spiffy, Rhyxemplar looking like hell, and Taylor looking like she went out on a bender for four nights without sleep. The later still had enough energy to give you a weak smirk, before she started wheezing.

"Heh.......Heh.......Heh.........How.......does........it.........feel..........having..........an......unfair........Move........used.........on.........your..........Pokemon...........partner. Haaaaa.....Haaaaaa............probably..........shouldn't..........have.........done.........that..........but..........it...........was.......so............worth......it."

.....Nasty stuff, that Fairy Lock EX is. Nasty stuff...

Current Status:

Kyle: 6/7 HP, Magnet Rise Buff, Holding Wide Lens
Rhyxemplar: 3/13 HP, - 2 STR and Defense, Steel type and Steel type Moves Locked Away/Unavaliable (For 3 More Rounds), Holding Pitch Black Sludge, - 2 Pain, Has Healer for his Ability.

Reiner Vs Taylor Round 14

Reiner still plays it cool, but he's giving Taylor a very stern look in return, with an equally stern response.

"...Taylor, as you said, this isn't a no holds barred beatdown.  So what. Exactly. Were you hoping to achieve.  With that?  If I was actually trying my absolute hardest to win, you'd be seeing much, much worse from me.  You haven't seen any of the tricks that I have, and you're not going to in this battle.  Rhyxemplar, that's enough.  Give Taylor her item back, and get some rest."

Reiner recalls Rhyxemplar.

"...I'm halfway tempted to just call it off right there if you're willing to put yourself on the line for this, Taylor.  I have other things to worry about, and I don't want you falling unconscious from exhaustion to be among them."

He turns to Mr. Mime.

"Mr. Mime, get her something restorative ASAP, please."

It's a completely no nonsense attitude.  He is NOT letting Taylor continue the battle in this state. Hopefully that defuses things a little.

The screens and the Misty Terrain are also both down now, so yay?
