Actually, that's kinda normal going by the rulebook's guidelines. A pokemon that willingly joins will typically start with 2 Loyalty, a non-fainted pokemon caught in a pokeball will typically start with 1 Loyalty, and a fainted pokemon caught in a pokeball will typically start with 0 Loyalty. And Happiness starts at 2 but is reduced by the Pain penalization the pokemon had when caught.
I kinda had a 'what the heck?!' moment of my own when that Seaking turned out to have 2 Loyalty to go with her 3 Disobedience, tbh. That's definitely a case of GM discretion right there. Maybe she was just that impressed with how Nathan handled that situation or something? I can definitely imagine that Seaking as having a kinda dominant and defiant attitude that's kinda like 'I'm just as strong as the male Seaking are, and I can prove it! I don't need a bigger horn!'

On a different note...ngl, but waiting all day to see how that first Round against Sandslash is gonna go has made me a little more nervous about it...that spiky armadillo could do any number of dangerous things...Crush Claw, Slash, and Night Slash are all immediately threatening for a single target and have a lot of potential for causing huge amounts of damage in varying ways, and Magnitude, EQ, and Bulldoze (to an extent) could all do a number on everyone as a group...pretty sure it'll still be okay, but man, is there a lot of tension while I'm waiting to see how it all turns out...

In addition...did my post with the orders for Round 1 of Sandslash and Marill get lost among all the other posts, @Iron? Or have you just been holding off on responding to it to catch everyone else up in the timeline? Also, in case you also missed another post, Spira issued some basic orders for the Noctowl and Pikachu encounter.
