He'd been considering this since Spira first joined the party, but there hadn't been much opportunity to ask Spira this question until now.

Hey, Spira, would ya be up for a pokemon battle?  More practice is never a bad thing in my opinion, and I'd also like to see how you handle your pokemon first hand.

After the training session with Toya, Spira feels his 'dex vibrate and sees the message from Nathan, he then shoots a message back.

I'm always up for a battle, and look forward to how you handle your Pokemon as well.
