(Have a few questions for you, Iron
- Why did Diggersby hit itself with Super Fang? Dunny used Wil-lo-wisp on them first, not Confuse Ray, so unless the buff bunny was Confused before hand, then SF shouldn't have procced on it, still giving it full HP. The reason I'm so keen on this is that with less Pain their Loyalty/Happiness increases [as it has been mentioned, sometime ago...], enough to where even - 1 Pain may given him at least 1 Loyalty [and almost definitely if Absorb would have only dealt 1/No Damage].
Of course, they get 1-2 more Will Dice to resist capture, but that literally doesn't matter, since even if they got 2 Success they still don't beat Terra Safari Ball Roll. I just want to know if retconning SF's Damage is possible, so that Shiny Diggersby could be more Loyal due to a lack of Pain.
- XP for the Encounter? My guess is 4 XP to be divided between Michael and Dunny, since the battle didn't turn out so hard for them/Terra.
- Its still Encounter 1 [Well, the end of it, anyway] for Terra, right? If it is, that means I don't have to worry about responding to Heart's message until later on, and can still explore the S.Z. for the full day instead of cutting it short!)
Other than getting a bit battered by the mudslide (Something he was almost unphased by, were it not for that one rock smashing into his shin - ouch!), catching the Shiny Diggersby proved to be an easy and uncomplicated task for Terra and his partners, causing his already eager expression to break out into a triumphant grin as he pumped a fist to the sky as he called out to Mikey/Dunny!
"Great job, my friends! Both of you going to get extra special treat for this later, promise!"
The mushroom of champions was quick to mirror his gesture with equal zeal and gusto (Orah!), while Dunny just quietly basked in their achievement and their partner's praise with a look of satisfaction and an air of vindication (Take that, Normal type). Both of them were happy doing what they were best at (thoroughly debilitating their opponents, then blitzing away at them), but the extra kudos from their mountain of a friend made it all the sweeter!
Once their min celebration was over, Terra went over to collect and send Shiny Diggersby to his PC (only pausing to look over its summery with raised eyebrows and a small smile of appreciation at what he seen), before he decided to continue exploring the current part of Area 6 that Geo lead him too (Henceforth called 'The Safari Heartlands' by me) for more Rare/unusual Pokemon. After coming across a Shiny Pokemon on his initial foray into the scarcely touched wilderness, the rugged wanderer was all too intrigued and excited to see what else it had to offer, or what secrets it held.....
Oops, that's my bad. I just glanced at your orders where you had listed Confuse Ray first, even though I actually rolled out WillOWisp as request. Go ahead and bring him up to 2 Loyalty.
6XP to be divided.
Yes, this was the first encounter.
Geo leads you now into the heart of the Safari Zone. There is a cavity on the town-facing side of the hill's roots, and that same side of the mountains themselves has been worn smooth by some ancient geological event. You also spot the now-familiar sparkle of Meteoric SuperConductor. Geo points out gentle trenches and hummocks in a line streaming away from the cavity. "Scientists think these were caused by some disaster long ago which created our gentle valley. Maybe a sudden flood, ultra powerful Pokemon attack, or geologic disaster. They think it might have something to do with the very strange assortment of Pokemon in the Safari Zone, thousands of years later. Safari Zone Pokemon are different than even the Pokemon a couple miles away in Teazel Valley or the plains, despite similarity of habitat."
"I led you to this crater thing because strange Pokemon are attracted to it. I recommend we search around here for the rest of the day, if you'd like to see something odd or rare that isn't normally available. If you're tired of catching Pokemon, we can spend a couple hours gathering this shiny flower. It's called Deyo and it has interesting/valuable medicinal properties."
Aggro: (5)
Rarity: (3)(2)(6)
Hovering over the crater you see a Lunatone, under attack by four Staryu. It's desperately trying to dodge the streams of Water Gun or hide behind psychic defenses. Lunatone is hard to find in the wild, outside of ancient mystical places. It's not renowned as a battler, though.
