If that Gardevoir's initiative had been lower or she'd been less damaged, I probably would have just gone into Swiftfire, who was intended to be my main trump card for the fight due to Poison Jab and resisting Fairy type moves.  Maybe Starmie as well since Mystic Water boosted Hydro Pumps are nothing to sneeze at (though I wanted to conserve Starmie for extinguishing Fire Pledge if possible).  However, Calam was just all around a more solid choice for the ending due to his ridiculous speed and the fact that I taught him Iron Tail specifically for situations where he might have to face Fairy types.  And I'm really, really proud of Charizard.  He did almost all of the work in that battle, so it's definitely a win he can be proud of even if he didn't manage to finish it off directly.  When I said I didn't send in Charmeleon because Angela had an Ice type out, I meant it!  I find it really, really ironic and funny that I beat Angela without a single notably advantageous matchup type wise


Spira has the option to battle Angela as well since she kinda wants to try putting him in his place (except I don't remember her telling him where to find her, so that might be a problem...).  Shiva MAY have the option to battle her, but Angela hasn't extended any obvious offers to Shiva yet from what I remember.  (though if Shiva wants to reach 7* Insight, she HAS to defeat Angela, obviously)


Heart and Terra would still have to catch her attention in some way, but I don't think that'll be too difficult.  Heck, I could probably even have Nathan try to put in a good word for them since he'd know IC that the two of them would likely want to try battling Angela at some point.

The Safari Zone's a big place, and Angela...well, if she doesn't want to be found, you probably won't find her.  Part of the reason I did the whole thing with Calam helping to search for her is because Nathan knows exactly how difficult Angela can be to find (ask him about Angela IC if you want to know more!).  It could have potentially taken Nathan all day to track her down if Calam hadn't been helping.

Huh......quite the comprehensive backup plans you got there, mate. Your mind is sharp as ever, I see!  Now that you mention her, I'm kinda disappointed Swiftfire didn't get a chance to show her niece Moves off or get another chance to participate in a Gym Battle, as between them and Flame Charge she could have emulate one of the Fiercesome Fiery Trio with her blazing speed and power! I think that Charizard did her and their Fire typing proud enough for the both of them, though, so its all good!

Starmie would have be an safer choice to finish the fight with imo, though, if they had Recover (Which I recall they do....I think), since between that and Psywave it could have just outtanked the fair lady and/or bypassed its Defenses entirely. On that note, with 5 Badges, that move now deals 5D6 Flat Damage, which is certainly no joke at all, so when I battle you I'll be on the lookout for such Moves...... *Begins watching furitively....*

Hmm....now that I think about it, why didn't you set up Sticky Web with Grid, mate? That would have hampered Angela greatly, and given you a larger margin of error to work with. Or maybe you did, but I missed it, in which case, never mind!

Oh, that's right! Doh, I keep forgetting these details...... Well, Terra is completely oblivious to Angela's existence, so Nathan would also have to inform him about her along with sending the recommendation, or just ask for her to meet up with the lug directly so they can arrange things. He'd like to test himself against the second most powerful Fairy Trainer in Cheshire, so if the sooner they get to know each other, the better!

Err.....I was not trying to get at finding her, per say, but hoping for the exact inverse, IE, her finding Terra on chance. It didn't happen, though, so I'm not going to be torn up about it, especially since the Badge and Rewards she hands out are not a must have for me.
