When Shiva is conjecturing about not being able to split up, not being able to do both, the psychics don't really react. Prophecies aren't always literal or detailed. But when you posit that the Four are the artifacts, buried within the ruins, Gallade and Gothitelle get excited.

Gallade, of course, is a bit torn. As a Kirlia he'd been having those visions about the Ruins, it's a very important and long-term task for him, but if it were up to him right now he'd storm the Almanac base. He turns to Shiva and Nathan and starts trying to communicate something. Eventually, he succeeds in getting Shiva to pull out that True Card. He points to it, then to the base, then to the Ruins.
