Shiva could ask Cottonee if she heard the hum of machinery (or some other constant sound electronics that are on 24/7 might make), or we could have a pokemon with particularly good hearing listen for the same.  Server rooms aren't exactly quiet, and underground server rooms are definitely a thing.  And if Almanac has a lot of secrets to hide on them, you can bet they probably hid the servers a well.

Nathan was vague on the details, but he did tell everyone to keep an eye out for the servers.
