Aha!  Just as Nathan suspected!  I knew there had to be something about those Conditional Balls that wasn't on the up and up!

"...do you know how to get out of here without getting caught?  Because I can tell you right now, there's a ton of security around here, even though there isn't a large number of guards present this early in the morning.  My companions and I had to sneak our way in, and we've nearly gotten spotted a few times already.  If you just try and stroll out like nothing happened...well, you'll probably end up right back where you started, to be blunt."

Nathan thinks for a moment...

"...tell ya what.  Think you could maybe help us out with getting that barrier in the corner down?  I can probably help get you out of here, but I also need to get to those servers.  Almanac and the people they work with have hurt a lot of people and pokemon.  My best friend, Gallade...my dad...my uncle...Calam, my Absol friend...if we can get to those servers, we can fight back.  We won't have to be just victims any more.  Even though you don't know the answer to this puzzle...can you help us find it or an alternative, please?"

Mr. Mime turns around and agrees to help as best he can. For starters, he summons a Barrier at the bottom of the stairs to slow any intruders down. 

What else would you like him to do? He mostly seems thoughtful as he ponders the server, as if it looks familiar to him.
