He then grabs the one that is black ethereal chains, if it hasn't been broken yet, to see if he can get a specific "feel" from it.

That one is split, but it has kind of a frayed afterimage. You can definitely feel that it's ghostly, but you don't really think it's actual magic. You think it's more like a Ghost-type move.

Well, since we're on the topic, if Nathan takes a closer look at the cord, does he get the feeling that any of them are draconic in nature?
