[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
(04-07-2019, 06:49 AM)PhantomUnderYourDesk Wrote: I've been pondering about that mysterious 'kingly Pokemon' needed to advance to the deeper layers of the Skull Ruins for a bit, and the most obvious exemplars that came to my mind are Honedge from Heart and Slowking from Nathan. Other possibilities could be:
  • A Nidoking, Caesar from Heart is a Nidorino at the moment though.
  • A Pyroar, likely the one at the Shelter in Stair City. It needs a lot of work in order to be used safely, there's likely no time to manage that properly before the trip into the Ruins.
  • A Jellicent, I caught a Shiny Frillish down Mount Sentry but traded it away already.
  • A Golking, I remember Nathan caught one during the Safari Cup.

Does anyone of your have more suggestions and/or thoughts about that?

Charizard and other Dragons/Dragon-like pokemon. (A common sight among the nobility and one of Sarimanok's preferred kinds of mons)

Empirilla (king of the jungle, essentially)

Vespiquen (literally bug royalty.  Seikamater also fits that category, but isn't a feasible possibility atm. Always female, but might not make a difference)

Politoed (another King's Rock evo)

Gallade and Gardevoir could possibly count circumstantially. (No guarantees, but it may be a possibility)
