Been reading your recent orders for Spira's Gym Battle, and I'd notice you didn't account for Mightyena's Taunt with a set of Conditional orders for Hilda. I can't blame you for falling for it the first time, as being prepared for it required being paranoid enough to read up on its Bulba page and planning accordingly, but after that you should have been expecting it to happen to prevent the lava slug from healing or buffing. If you had, you'd probably gotten an extra attack in without wasting an Action + Accuracy Dice, which could have meant taking down Mightyena all the quicker. Conditional Orders for when something doesn't go as you planned to keep up a strong offense/things from falling apart is something to keep in mind when battling, generally speaking, though up against weak opponents or a Pokemon you know doesn't pose much a difficulty you don't have to make them.
Its pretty much what I do with all my Battles, and it usually pays off in the long run, bar the dice being especially uncooperative. Takes longer to make the post, sure, but if that extra time can make it so that things turn out more good than not.....
I pretty much agree with this. Your conditional orders can be simple or very specific, whatever you wish. A Taunted Pokemon will use the most relevant move you ordered for it unless a conditional order is given, like "If Taunted, use the strongest attack he's allowed to use" or "the most accurate move" or "use Smog in place of Recover if necessary."
