For the shake of curiosity, I'm wondering if you could chuck a bottle of alcohol or some other burnable chemical at something, and then get a Fire Move to light up, would that deal more Damage or come with added effects?

You could, but it would be pretty insignificant relative to the Pokemon move. Maybe an added dice, like having Charcoal.
