I like him as an NPC though, I've seen various concept of Dark Type Gym Leaders in some FanGames but not yet something that plays with sunshine and darkness.
As someone who once suffer depression for a long time of my life, I feel sympathy towards him. Depression it's one of greatest evils of our modern times. And I kinda feel representative when I feel such concept be used in fiction stories. Even more in Pokemon.

I will not elaborate on my state and medical diagnoses, that's private, but I agree with you concerning that.
