Grim is the opposite, he goes on a long diatribe about utilitarianism and when he'd help and when he wouldn't. He gives it a lot of thought before each situation - what he'd do if he had to sacrifice himself to help a random person (wouldn't help), to help a sufficiently important person (would help), or if it didn't cost him anything (would help no matter what). Gallade thinks some of that is just bravado - Grim might find himself helping despite his better judgment.
One more question for both of them, then. Something a little more specific.
"What if it wasn't a person in trouble, but a pokemon instead, and you don't know how weak or strong it might be? What then? Would you help?"
Given that Nathan is asking Scimitars this question, there's a generally expected answer...but maybe someone will surprise Nathan with their individual opinion, rather than the organization's general tendencies as a whole...
Grim: "Pokemon are a resource. I'd help only if there was a chance it would be strong or interesting. Since you said I don't know its strength, there are a lot of circumstances where I wouldn't bother to help. Pokemon can take care of themselves, or not." But Grim is absentmindedly stroking one of the Pokeballs hidden in his belt as he says this.
Kelda: "Scimitars don't hate Pokemon, Nathan! They're just a distraction from the arcane arts, which are what really matter. So...I probably wouldn't help the Pokemon, 'cause I should be practicing. But maybe if it wasn't going to take much time." (She clearly feels bad about this)
