Concerning Taylor's opening remarks: Reiner simply sighs.  He's definitely going to have to get used to her new brand of humor now, apparently...
Concerning that questioning look about Emily's remark: "...like I said, Taylor, it's a long story.  She's been through a lot.  Well, we all have, really..."

Well, then, I suppose it's almost time for the credits to roll...I have a special post for that ready once everything is REALLY finished.

Let's wrap up all those other loose points first, though.  Because while Reiner IS just about ready to go, I'd rather not have a bunch of loose ends dangling around the end of the string.

You carefully open the package, and find.....books and high quality art supplies, including what looked to be a professional artist's sketching pad and stencils. The tomes themselves were titled the following:

- The Celadon City Vandals - A Full and Unbiased Recount. 
- The Nuclear Research Facility - A Choose Your Own Adventure.
- Giratina - A Full and Unbiased History and Guide to The Goddess of Balance and Distortion.
- The Muses Guide to Becoming a Leader and Expert of The Arts.
- A creased leather book without a title.

There was also a note on the top most book (The Celadon City Vandals). It simply read as follows:

- Some reading that might be of interest and use to you. The art supplies are for Emily, and they are enchanted to never cease in their function. Consider them a gift, for all the adversity you and her have endured, and will undoubtably continue to face.

Hope seemed hesitant to accept being in a Great Ball after all that fuss, but with a little more coaxing she happily agree with you and lets herself be captured in a Great Ball, as she originally wished!

Reiner should realize by now part of the reason she's being so....humorous is her way of trying to re-connect with you and smoothing over any awkward feelings. Like you, she's never been the most sociable (Even less so, somehow), so her while her heart was in the right place, her course of action was not necessarily the most well thought out.

Taylor continued to star at you for a few seconds, before shrugging and leaving it at that. She'll get the scoop about that later, so she's in no rush to find out how her old partner suddenly adopted a adorable artist as his little sis.
