If there's something Nathan wants to do in the immediate moment after facing those Kadabra, it's take all those Twisted Spoons the Kadabra were holding.  That's a fairly rare hold item, and one that would be immensely useful for someone with a lot of Psychic types (like Nathan, for example).

That'd be 6 that he can get from his group of Kadabra.
