"...you're back, and that's what matters.  I just need you to do one thing for me."

Reiner pulls out that huge pile of berries, a dead serious look on his face.

"...I'm going to need you to eat all these berries.  Yes, every.  Single.  One."

(And yes, Weavile, he's serious.  Trust us.  The results may surprise you.  And a tummy ache later will probably feel a lot better than...well, feeling very little at all.)

(Besides, enduring something that minor is a rather...light scolding considering what you almost pulled.)

Weavile gives you a frank confused look at both of your simple acceptance of his transgressions (especially from you) and letting him join on the condition he pig out on a bunch of Berries, before shrugging semi-helplessly.

"Uh.....okay? Expected a bit more anger and resentment at the big stink I caused, but if you two will accept me back after chowing down, then I'm back with you partners. Don't know what you're talking, since I feel fine and normal - well, aside from my guilt and anger at myself - but if you say so, I guess it is so then."

You learn at this point that Shadow Pokemon don't really percieve or comprehend the loss of their emotional capacity, thinking their new profound lack of feelings is not only normal, but how it has always been for them. They can understanding the feelings of others, and can fake them if necessary, but their ability to feel and empathize is not only gone, but its lose is literally inconceivable to them. Yikes.

The black cat thief proceeds to gobble down ALL the Berries, at first having no problem doing so, but later on struggling to force them down without gagging or throwing up. Once he crams the last Berry down his throat, though, nothing happens for about a minute.......before a burst of energy from within knocks him off his feet and onto his back, and in that instant his heart is opened and his Shadowy Aura gone!

Weavile is Purified! He forgets Shadow Chill and Shadow Half, and learns Rend/Serration and Helping Hand in their place! 

After that, he lets out a long, low sickened groan before turning his head to the side and retching up a sizable and fragrant pile of puke, before weakly waving a paw around again.

"Uuuuuuuggggaaaaah.......I.....can....feel........and......feel......*Face bloats, before he turns and pukes again* terrible. Not......sure.....whether....to.......thank.....you.......or......curse.....you......for......this..........partner, so......let.......me......do........both. Uuuuuuuggggaaaaaah.......*Pukes again*"

Due to eating WAY OVER the safe amount of Mood/EV Altering Berries in such a short time, Weavile now has bad case of Food Poisoning! He's going to be like this for 5 days, and not of much use in the mean time!

....All's well that ends well? 
.....Indeed. I believe his brief degradation of his self and subsequent wasting illness is fitting enough Punishment for him considering to betray My Reiner. Let him learn from his transgressions, and never commit them again. If he acts like a fool again, I will treat him as such deserves.
