So in total, we're facing...
4 Kadabra
2 Sigilyph
1 Unown Swarm
1 Chandelure (maybe. Depends on how aggressive it is after the Psychic types are defeated)
Alright, let's get cracking, then!
Together We Stand: Boss Battle 1 - Kid Icarus Uprising
Charizard: He's going for crowd control!
Heat Wave x4 (targets Kadabra, 1 Sigilyph, and the Unown)
Acc: 14 - 2 Exh - 1 Acc - 4/5/6/7 = 7/6/5/4
Dmg: 3 + 5 + STAB = 9 D6 base
Eff: Burn 1 (1)
Note: Blaze might be factored in
If Heat Wave gets Disabled or there's only a single target remaining, Charizard's got another trick up his sleeve: switching to focus firing!
Shadow Claw (conditional order, targets the Unown first if they aren't KOed yet)
Acc: 15 - 2 - 4/5/6/7 = 9/8/7/6
Dmg: 3 + 5 + SE = 8 D6 base + 1 damage
Eff: 4 successes crits
Calam: He doesn't have a whole lot he can do to immediately help with a large swarm unless he's in an ambush, so let's try this! 4 actions, starting with...
Me First! 1 (on an Unown)
Acc: 7* + 5 + 2 - 2 - 4 Act = 8 D6 (14 D6 base)
Dmg: ?
Eff: Priority +1 (lol). Copies Hidden Power, which will result in whatever Calam's does. Don't know what it will do, but it'll get +1 damage dice if applicable thanks to Me First.
Depending on how that goes, that'll determine what Calam does next.
- If Me First copying Hidden Power seems to be an effective option in this situation, then we'll keep using it as long as we can, then switch to Night Slash (non-lethal, 16 base accuracy, 10 base damage) when we can't (i.e, when Me First is Disabled or all the Unown are KOed).
- If Me First isn't an effective option, then Calam will simply use Night Slash (still non lethal), targeting the Unown first. And if Night Slash is Disabled, Calam will switch to using Pursuit.
Nathan issues his orders to his pokemon, but also makes a note that Feraligatr isn't free yet! "If someone hits that switch over there with some electricity, Feraligatr might help us too! I'm pretty sure it's them, anyways!" Nathan isn't saying it to anyone in particular, but if one of the Scims, Luxray, or Meowstic (cuz Female Meowstic learn Charge Beam via level going from the games' movesets) end up doing that, great!
Nathan's got a Potion Orchid ready to use on Calam should his HP drop to 4 or less!
Chandelure will not be targeted with attacks unless it seems like it's going to be aggressive towards the group.
Light Screen and Reflect are up, Wide Guard support is incoming, Marco's pokemon are all getting involved in the action as well...
This seems like it'll be a solid strategy. Let's see how it pans out...
