The summoning of Earthpower makes the crystal caverns reverberate strangely. It seems to grow a little darker, then lighter again. All the hairs on Marc's body stand up on end, and the room is charged with static electricity. In fact, that's the first thing you notice changing - those hairs, especially in the whisker area, begin to recede. So does the tail.
After about an hour of chanting and channeling, the Kadabra with Magic Guard has grown to human stature once more - tall and broad shouldered like Nathan remembers Marco being. The hands have also become more familiar. But the eyes... the eyes are still cold and Kadabra-like. The creature immediately sinks deeper into unconsciousness. Still, it's enough to spark hope within Nathan Warren, for now he can be positive this is his dad and that there's hope of returning him to human form!!
Heart thinks it will take two more nights of this to fully restore Marco.
Cosh is a little dismissive. "This is the legendary Trainer? This is Marco Warren? Some help this side trip has turned out to be."
