@Mikaruge108, using Transform as Ditto's first action might not be required, given the wording of that surprise effect it has. Regardless of who it targets, though, it's going to trigger (I forget, but did we agree on whether that surprise can use a present ally as the target, @Iron, or does it only target opponents like in the games?)

Regardless, as long as Ditto can see the target pokemon in this particular game, no roll is required to Transform, regardless of the method.
