Karen follows the Minyan.

Oh, and one more detail: Minyan pulls its wings in close around its body and shivers, then gestures towards the lakefront again.

Karen, with her high Empathy, can easily tell that it probably means this pokemon's trainer is rather cold.  Might be a good idea to be prepared to help with that if needed.

She takes off her bag, rummages through her stuff and once she finds what she's looking for (a sleeping bag that she carries around, just in case) she puts it where she can better get to it and goes to help the trainer in need, and to be on the safe side, she tells Kogeki that she's following the Minyan, and the fact that there most likely is a trainer in distress nearby.
