(Pressure's text also specifically says to round down. Also, given how the original rules allow for you to issue conditional orders for Detect and Protect and the like the same way you can do so for Evasion, I'll allow that in this game! And yes, I'll rule that Strike and Knockdown count as unique moves in League battles.)
Interesting strategy, letting Weavile go first.
Randolph vs Candice Round 6
Weavile's a little overconfident at first, having planned her strategy out already. She charges immediately to hit that frail rival Dark type where it hurts! She's going to make mince meat of...
...then Diam becomes enveloped in a sphere of rainbow colored light right before the attack connects!
Detect 1
5* + 2 + 2 - 2 = 7 D6
(4)(4)(5)(5)(5)(2)(1)
Ice Punch 1
12 - 2 = 10
(5)(5)(5)(2)(4)(2)(3)(5)(2)(4) Good thing Diam used Detect. Critical hit!
4 + 3 + STAB - 5 + 2 Crit - 3 Detect = 2 D6
(5)(2) Diam takes 1 damage 7/8 HP
(2) Nope
As Weavile's fist mostly bounces off of that sphere of rainbow colored light, the transformation completes! Diam is now fully Mega Evolved, her full glory revealed! She makes a face at Weavile, taunting the kitty with the reflection in the gigantic gem.
This just makes Weavile more determined to show this gemlin who's the boss here!
Night Slash 2
12 - 4 = 8 D6
(3)(4)(3)(1)(3)(1)(5)(4)
(6)(3)(1) Diam takes 1 damage 6/8 HP -1 Pain
Diam wags a finger at Weavile. Nu-uh. You're not getting away with that so easily!
Then her gem starts glowing...
Metal Burst 2
2 + 3 + 2 - 4 - 1 = 2 D6
(4)(1) ...and explodes with light!
(6)(5)(3)(4)(1) Weavile takes 3 damage! 5/8 HP -1 Pain
Weavile recoils in surprise after taking such a staggeringly powerful blow from a wall of all things. What the...?
Bah, no matter! This Sableye isn't getting the better of her today! She'll show 'em what a real counterattack looks like!
Weavile's waiting...
...and Diam's all too eager to hit back!
She focuses even more light in her gem...
Flash Cannon 3
4* + 3 + 2 - 6 - 1 = 2 D6
(5)(4) ...and fires it out of it in an explosive shot of even more pure light energy!
2 + 3 - 4 Sp Def + SE = 1 D6 + 1 damage (maybe a little underwhelming right now, but this is her first time using the move, so cut her some slack!)
(5) Weavile takes 2 damage! 3/8 HP -2 Pain
(1)
Weavile fires back with an...
Avalanche!! 3
12 - 6 - 2 = 4 D6
(6)(4)(3)(4)
(4)(2)(5)(1) Diam takes 2 damage. 4/8 HP -2 Pain
That's all Weavile can do this Round, though, since her opponent is immune to Brick Break. She's huffing and puffing, trying to figure out how in the heck she got damaged so badly this Round by a wall of all things, and how she can get some payback in the next one...
"Hey Randolph, by the way, how'd you teach your Sableye how to use Flash Cannon? I'm not an expert on the Steel type for obvious reasons, but I'm pretty certain I haven't ever seen or heard about a Sableye using that move before."
The Tailwind peters out.
