The biggest benefit of pet school is that she'll be around other dogs, learning to perform those tricks around constant distractions. I do wish puppy school had started a month ago, but she wasn't considered old enough.

The only trouble she causes me is due to her being a herding dog - she nips at everyone's ankles all the time! She's getting better about that but it's a slow process.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, that would be a good thing for her, to learn how to work and perform under increased pressure and sensory input. Don't want Thunder getting distracted mid-trick or during an important job, right?

Heh he, that's breed in instincts, for you! At least she's not tearing up the house, getting lost in the woods, or anything else that a dog can get themselves in trouble for!
