Waging battle against a Legend was every bit a perilous struggle Terra could imagine.
In a scant few moments, the Genesect had devastated everyone's Pokemon, laying low both of Nathan's and Shiva strongest and more trusted Pokemon, cleaving Doublade into unconsciousness twice over, sending Gendry and Elya into shock, sent Toya to oblivion, rending all of Marco's Pokemon but Scarmory unconscious, and nearly bludgeoning his trusty shield into the dirt. And if it were not for the grim ghost lord's Disable and Nubi's Lucky Chant, everyone would have paid much more dearly than that. Truly, the power and might of the primal beast was immense, no matter how much it paled in comparison to its peers. A weak Legend was still a Legend, and a Legend was one tough mother$#%^*! .
Yet, despite the terrible loses inflicted upon them by Sari's pet war machine, they had managed to cripple it greatly. Most of its stone blades were shattered into rumble, and only one of its drones remained, turning what should have been a unmitigated slaughter on them into an actual chance to prevail. Now, more than ever, everyone had a chance to beat back this Legend.
Genesect was weakened. Genesect was deprived of the majority of its weapons. Genesect was vulnerable.
It was time.
Time to put his plan into motion.
Quick as he could, Terra recalled Edmundi to his ball (For he knew a full powered Earthquake would kill them), and yanked Mikey's and Oinari's ball from his braided belt. He held his trickster fox's ball close to his mouth and whispered: "Use Illusion to change your appearance to Genesect when you first saw him, and follow my lead. Do not fail or falter, or we could all die."
No pressure! It's not like your life is on the line or noth - oh wait.
He then whispers a plan to Mikey too: Keep Genesect off Oinari, and pound away at it remaining Weapon or it with non-stop ROCK SMASHES. A less stressful task (relatively speaking), but one that put the shroombro in as great danger as the dark dear. He was confidant that they could handle it, though.
Then, without further delay, Terra threw out his Pokeballs, and begun his pain
Orders: Here they are....
- Have Oinari use Illusion to change her appearance to DMG's at their prime condition, and then use Foul Play 5 times against it using the Contest mechanics like against the Kimono Girls to make the Moves extra showy/scary. For her first hit, she'll dedicate 5 Accuracy Dice to the Performance, and 1 Will Point to get + 1 Success on the actual Accuracy Roll , then 3, 2, 1, and 0 Accuracy Dice for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th hits respectively to be added to their Performance Rolls.
- Terra will be spending 12 XP in order to raise his Perform up to 3, giving him an 8/6/5/4/3 Perform/Contest Rolls for each of Oinari's Foul Plays (1st to last).
- Terra will be trying to channel/put to use his Intimidating prowess into making Oinari's Foul Plays as scary/dominating as possible, possibly using the faint connection he has with DMG in order to better convey the Intimidation too. In essence, I want an Intimidation Roll on DMG via Oinari's Foul Plays, with another Will Point being spent to add + 1 Success to the Intimidation Roll itself.
- Michael's job is to be both bodyguard to Oinari and an source of aggro. If Oinari's Targeted for attack, he'll either intercept it or throw her clear from the area of attack (In the case of Earthquake, hiiiiigh up into the air, and in the case of Rock Slide off towards wherever the Rocks are not falling), and he'll be doing his best to use ROCK SMASH 5 times this Round too, first on the Drone and then on DMG Weapons and the beast itself.
- Both will get a Potion if they fall below three HP.
- Note: Due to Oinari's + 1 DEX and Survival, she has a base Initiative of *13 while Tailwind is going, meaning she only needs a (3) or higher in order to beat DMG's Initiative (Or if Nathan summons Charizard and has them use Scary Face, she just need a Roll higher than (1) ). If there is a way to guarantee it to be higher than a (3) at the cost of a Will Point, then I will take the Will Point being spent out of Terra's Intimidation Roll and put it here.
- Note 2: Oinari also has a + 1 Insight Surprise, which may help her pull of the deception better somehow. She's also perfectly Loyal to Terra, so she will obey his orders on this, even if it costs him her Loyalty afterwards.
This is it, my Operation in full. May it go well, in one manner or another......
Moves:
Oinari: 5 Actions - Foul Play X5 (Foe's STR [Legendary, ergo it should by all rights bypass its Plot Armor] + 3 + STAB = Unknown)
Michael: 5 Actions - ROCK SMASH X5 (STR + 4 + STAB = 10D6 Base Damage [Not that will matter against Plot Armor, but still have to list it!)
Dice Pool: 14D6 (Brawl, + 1 Dice for Oinari due to her DEX Surprise)
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
