Ditto can take the shape of a Legendary for sure, that would be something Nathan has read about in history. But they don't gain Plot Device or, in this case, Genesect's impossibly high stats.

Though here's my next question about Ditto:

If Ditto were to be sent out against Gensect now, would it also copy the current number of intact modifications that Genesect has and be affected by that accordingly?  Or would it still operate as normal regardless of the number of intact modifications copied?
