Ran would be pretty interested in meeting the pair of them at some point, as he's interested in true legends and myths and those Ghosts seem to embody them.

Funnily enough, I think that makes Randolph the 'lore guy' of this group.

He's a fairly advice reader and a scholarly type for reasons that will be fully revealed in due time, and he just likes pursuing all sorts of genres of fiction/stories for the fun/enjoyment of it, so yeah, I can see him being the Lore Guy unintentionally. He's a Craftsman first and foremost now and days (Even above being a Trainer), but he's a smart and wise cookie too!
