Usually blue Sylveon would intercept here by hissing at that ninja-guy while wrapping her sparkling ribbons around her lovely owner's arms, but.... well, she's recovering from being defeated at the moment in her comfy Friend Ball. It'd be, well, a good idea to not provoke him further.
"ANYWAY... *prolonged sigh* Eh, thanks for the aid. Could we now please head to the Pokemon Center? It's not much warmer around here, you see."
The first thing he'll do there is of course hand Sylveon and Chatot in to the current Nurse Joy in duty with the request to heal them up, then grab the hottest beverage they have available in this Center. Feels like heaven to sip on that, awwww!
Oh yes, here's an artwork of my chara. Feels like a good moment to share this, some info in MetaThread may follow at some later point.

On to the Pokemon Center!

Everyone's business with these wild Snover concluded with the exception of that topic, the group heads back to the Pokemon Center so the stranger can actually warm up a little.

Nurse Joy looks up from her never ending pile of paperwork when everyone walks back into the room. Her attention is especially drawn to the young man who is obviously shivering because he doesn't have proper warm clothing on. She sighs and gestures to her Chansey to go do something, and the medical pokemon promptly runs off to go fetch something. Moments later, she returns with a Delibird in tow.
The Delibird wanders over to the group and offers everyone a cup of hot cocoa on a serving tray.
Chansey has come over as well, and is definitely watching the newcomer carefully for signs of any larger problems that might have been caused by being out in the cold for too long.
Meanwhile, Randolph is also in the Pokemon Center, waiting for his pokemon to be healed. If he's in the lobby, then that Torkoal he's got with him definitely looks like she'd be a really good source of heat and warmth. Chansey walks over to Randolph to ask for Brigid's help with warming up the stranger (via pantomiming, obviously).

She then makes this offer to Kogeki (@Spiritmon) "Say, earlier in my adventure here, I found this Hard Stone that looks really nice, and should sell for a lot more than a normal Hard Stone. Whaddya say I give you that if you let me keep the NeverMeltIce?"
Should he accept here is the info for the Hard Stone:
Hard Stone
Quantity: 1
Sell Price: $1500
Notes: Works like a normal Hard Stone.

"...what kind of icy hell did you lot get involved in out there? Why are almost half of your pokemon fainted or Frozen solid?"

It should also be noted that he was sitting at the same table everyone meet up at too (With his cup and thermo back out), back to reading his mysterious book with a Chatot perched on his shoulder too and 'reading' along (Ran was quietly mumbling the story to them), who was humming/softly singing what sounded like some sort of classical music. Brigid was laying underneath his seat, munching on a bit of coal (if it wouldn't cause a fuss) or some Pokechow (if it would), her naturally radiant heat wafting upwards to warm her 'kind' master's soul and less spiritual components. Overall, the drawven craftsman looked quite relaxed and peaceful, which to anyone who knew him in even the slightest would be grinning in relief and/or increadulity, especially if they knew he just challenged Candice in a no-holds-bar battle.
So engrossed in his book that he didn't notice that the rest of his group + another one had returned from their investigations around Lake Acuity, until Chansey waddled over and got his attention, causing him to heave a small *sigh* and put down his book to see what got the big pink cleric all worked up about. That's when he discovered everyone had returned + the new guy, the later of which in conjuction with how worn out/bedraggled caused him to stare at them in mute surprise/disbelief, until he expelled an even bigger *Sigh.....* and pinched his nose.
"In welche weiß gefrorene Hölle gingen diese jungen Partner von mir durch Feuer und Schmiede und zogen DIESEN dünnen Regenbogen?"
Translation: By fire and forge, what white frosted hell did those young partners of mine go into and drag THAT thin stretch of rainbow?
He then gave Chansey a nod and hopped on down from his seat and motioned for Brigid to follow him to meet the odd stranger, who'd appeared just as irritable as he did when something went up and pissed in his cornflakes, which earned them a bit of his curiosity until he smothered it down with a frown. Now was not the time for idle speculation, especially when he could get the actual answers to the 'mystery' presented to him.

"...what kind of icy hell did you lot get involved in out there? Why are almost half of your pokemon fainted or Frozen solid?"
"That's right there is a fine question Nurse, 'cause that's exactly what I want to know too. More so than you, even, given that two-thirds of those near frost bitten youngems are my partners on a job, so I'd liked to know what Frozen them like baby carrots outside and decide whether I should ream them for or not."
That was the first thing that came out of Randolph's mouth as he 'reunited' with his fellow investigators, giving them all a critical eye with arms crossed until his vision panned over to the new and colorful guy, at which point he gestured at them.
"Well, what in helheim did ya all get into, or get at ya? And mind telling me what, how, and why you've dragged this *Motions at Phantom's Chara* .....fellow out of the cold too, 'sides basic humanity 'n sympathy and such. *Looks down and shakes his head* Ich habe es bereits mit einem verkrüppelten Ninja und einem wunderbaren kleinen Mädchen zu tun, und JETZT bringen sie jemanden ohne Sinn für Vernunft ODER Mode herein? Diese Reise hält besser und besser ....."
Translation: I'm already dealing with a crippled ninja and some prodigial wee girl, and NOW they bring in someone with no sense of reason OR fashion? This trip keeps getter better and better.....
When Karen gives her brief explanation of events, he pretty much curses under his breath the exact same sentiments as the Nurse, before eyeing them critically.
"How and why, lass? Need a bit more detail than that snippet you've given. *Sighs* Might as well tell me what happened at Lake Acuity too, while ya at it. From the looks of it *Glances of at Phantom's Chara and then at the whole group again* .....it was a real neat 'n treat, eh?"
He's also curious as to know more about the mysterious and chromatic strangers, though he seems mostly dismissive of them at the time. Maybe that'll change in the future....?
Oh, and he motions for Brigid to go over by said 'unknown' character to warm them up, which they proceeded to happily do so with a smile, getting as close as she could/they like and smiling up at them graciously. If they allow, she'd be willing to cuddle up to their side too, all for the shake to help them even more! The coal tortoise was the friendliest of Ran's Pokemon with others, and the least judgmental to boot!
Kogeki don't answer right away the mysterious person. "Glad to know you have heat temper enough to keep you warm sir. Let's go to the Pokemon center." Nami and Nagi each follow Kogeki.
Kogeki think for a few seconds about Karen offer and then accept. "Very well. I trade my NeverMeltIce by your Stone. Extra power in stone moves is always good."
Kogeki wave his hand toward Randolph. "Heya. How your Gym battle go Randolph?"
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.
