You do find the Great Ball near the place you entered the card. It's unused, unharmed.
You can also see a shimmering little light at the exact point you entered. The Skull Ruins chambers are faintly visible inside the light.

Shiva picks the Great Ball up and packs it away; and what she also does is pick up Ratsy themselves and place them into the side pocket of her Ranger's cloak so that their head can stick out. She does so very gently but still with a good grip so that they can't escape and to make her message clear: "You're coming to, visiting hours are now over! You can always return as long as you stick with me, but let us give that Sylveon some privacy now."

She gasps as she notices this shimmering lil' light, and her mind immediately gets that this is the key to return to the original place!!! Taking Spira by the hand and summoning Whimsicott simultaneously, she starts to run towards this light with them before it may or may not disappear. "Q-quick, this may be our only chance! Whimsi, Azu please lend us your Tailwind and Helping Hand, we MUST make it!" No time to wave goodbye to shiny Sylveon, but they may not see it anyway.

Azu agrees that the islands are big enough for a human or two.

That's good, that's perfect. "Alright.... Good job, Azu!" (^_^)♡ She cuddles her blue fae-rabbit affectionately, which she uses to display her trick of pulling a 50$ coin from her sweet Master's ear.

Then Lilith gets summoned to join in the scenery, and so does Whimsicott. Towards the fromer, Shiva asks whether she can guide her and Arachnautilus down to one of these islands with her mighty Telekinesis; all while the fluffball properly lights things up with one or, if needed, repeated Flash/es. "Azu will lend you a Helping Hand on this too if you like, and of course you don't need to bring us down at the same time - one of us at a time is enough."

Assuming that they make it = if the Roll succeeds, the first thing Shiva does is try to make out anything that may be a Pokemon or the Artifact nearby, with Whimsi providing light to see properly. That hypnotic singing must be louder now - she tries to make out the source of it now to avoid it.
