Okay, yeah, the store that Randolph visits actually has quite a few, as they just finished cutting the diamonds they'd ordered down to size for their jewelry!  Quite frankly, they're really confused about why someone would only want the scraps, but they'll happily give 'em to ya for $100 per unit equivalent of gourmet food.  They currently have 6 units worth of scraps that you could purchase.


Feeding Diam Diamonds/Diamond Dust won't have any special effects, really.  It just makes her really happy If a gemstone had an innate effect, however, something might happen.  What exactly would happen, Randolph doesn't know as of right now, and it would likely vary as well.

As for the rest of Ran's main party of 6 and how they react to the meal...

Stymph's eagerly digging into her food with gusto, completely unladylike.

Beethoven's a bit more neat with his meal, but he can't help but glance up at Stymph every once in awhile.  He doesn't want to disturb her, though.  Nobody disturbs Stymph while she's eating if they know what's good for them.

Brigid's just happily munching away as well, content with her lot in life right now.

Puck's sat down off to the side and is noisily munching away.  His back/massive maw is turned towards Zorn, just in case.

Zorn, however...well, he's kinda just...quietly sitting off to the side right now.  He's not even eating currently.  He's just...quietly sitting there.  Which is...quite odd behavior coming from him, to say the least.

Ran would buy ALL 6 Units of the Diamond Scraps then, as a $100 Poke for 6 of his gemlin's favorite meal is a STEAL for him! At their confusion, he'd politely explain he has a Sableye whose's favorite food is diamonds after he purchased all the unit from them (As he doesn't want them to jack up the price in response to his reveal), before he'd look for around the shop for a sliver or platinum necklace with a blue alexandrite pendant, a bangle with an almandine set into, and any impressive whole gemstones they may have on display for sale. He would want to buy them as souvenirs for his friends back in Canalave City, with the bangle going to Byron, the gemstone going to Roark, and the pendant going to a friend of his. If the bangle could be engraved with the designs of Byron's favorite Pokemon, and all the presents could be shipped to them ASAP, that would be nice too!

He'd also include a message with the gifts, if possible. They'd be written as follows, to the following people:

Byron: Was buying some diamond scrap for my little fiend, spotted this piece, and decided that it look good on ya or in your collection! Think of it another gift, for all you've done for me. Don't think I've gone sappy on ya now, though! - Randolph Schmidt 'Wolfe' 

Roark: Spotted this gemstone while shopping around for Diam, and thought you'd like it. Do with it whatever ya like, and never say I don't think about ya! - Randolph Schmidt 

Mystery Person: Got this for you, since I thought it look pretty on ya.  You've done a lot for me and somehow managed to put up with my attitude, so I think you deserve something nice like it. Take care, and don't stress yourself out reselving those book or doing ya research, lass. Again. - Ran

Despite his natural/default state of being stern and/or grumpy, the bristly blacksmith can't help but smile as all his partners enjoyed their meal, nodding in satisfaction as he thought they deserved such special treats.

All except Zorn, who was just.....moping and staring at the wall/floor. That caused Ran's smile to vanish and quirk an eyebrow at his subterranean drake. 

'Why is the big o' brute acting like that, after they pretty much secured everyone victory against Miss Jackie Frost?  This ain't like him at all. Hmm.....better go check out what's up with him. If something is bothering Zorn this much to affect his behavior, I can't let it go on festering quietly inside him. Even if he's a onrey son of a bitch, I prefer him like that than.....this."

Taking a deep breath and fortifying himself, he walked over to the not so mean right now Dragon and patted them on the shoulder and grunting at them with mild concern.

"Zorn, what's crawled under ya scales and is bugging you so much? Thought you'd be celebrating ya conquest over Candice's Icy beasts, not just......sitting around like a Hard Stone."
