Ran shakes his head at their questions.

"Nope. Haven't heard a peep about what's brewing in Mt. Coronet like prison wine, and I haven't discussed anything I've seen with anyone."

Now, you might be wondering if the midget man is lying to Rowan, since he had pretty much blew the whistle on the whole mystery to Candice in order to gain access to Snowpoint Temple, but he isn't. He revealed what he heard and learnt, and spoke about the Murals and the whole situation in general, but not what he'd seen. Puck would be proud of his interpretation of the good old professor's question, he would.

As for why he answered like that, it's pretty simple: he doesn't want to piss off Rowan again with the truth and he wants to keep the info secret so that Miss Jackie Frost doesn't get swathed in red tap by Rowan/The League and prevented from running her own investigations/counter measures, in case and regardless if he and his co-workers succeed or fail in their job. While not afraid of them, he doesn't really want to anger them much more for practical reasons, and the more people in power/with resources that were working this case, the better, screw the secrecy and clock 'n dagger bullshit.

Rowan looks rather contemplative at Randolph's answer, but doesn't say anything about it.

Humm, the question about rumors catches his interest somewhat more. "Uh... Didn't tell anyone anything 'bout that topic, but I've been at a bar downtown before you arrived here. You hear a lot of things at places like that, intentionally or not." (Did he hear any rumors while he was there? GM's discretion, I guess.)

Oh yeah, Kee heard something while he was at the bar, despite being buzzed at the time due to the alcohol he was consuming.  Seems that the group encountering that swarm of Snover earlier wasn't the first time it happened.  Someone in the bar claimed to have barely escaped from a swarm of more aggressive than usual Snover as well.  However, nobody seemed to be listening to them since Snover aren't usually aggressive nor roam in large groups.
