Group A is focusing on Randolph.
Group B is focusing on Kee
Group C is focusing on Karen
Group D is focusing on Kogeki
So does that mean that a move affecting the whole battlefield WILL hit all the Pokemon on our side as well or is it now splitted that it is safe to do so = will solely hit the foes as it's counting as seperate Encounter? I'd please like to know for certain from GM themselves before I give orders to my Pokemon in GameThread, as I actually wanted to undo the summoning of Aya and solely fight with Core once being told that allies will be hit by her battlefield-moves as well, and then have Core clash that Boomburst from Ran's Chatot in a Single Action to prevent him from being easily defeated by that action (if his Ability for today would be Soundproof, I wouldn't care) - means, have Kee solely prioritize the safety of his Pokemon and let the others take an offensive role against the Sandshrew and -slash. But if they are splitted into groups focusing on a characters each, this will make him completely defenseless.
That Encounter's having become way more tricky than it maybe should have, is there no way it can be done in such way that it's indeed counting as seperate, like with these Snower at the lake? :C
As I just stressed with Beethoven's Boomburst, an AOE will hit EVERYONE (trainers included). The snowshrews are focusing on one set of targets per group at the start, but this is still a big group battle. If one side gets an advantage over the other, things could snowball quickly.
The encounter was always meant to be a little trickier.
