He has to take a deep breath after these tempered words. "Let's just...... only attack if we need to d'fend ourselves from 'em, OKAY ?" Kee's looking like he won't accept a 'no' as an answer.

Something Kee is also up to do is send Octavia to meet them and inquire them about stuff additionally to Karen's empathic guess, as Sylveon are known to read feelings simply by making contact with their ribbons. She's a brave faeeveelution that'd do that simply because Kee's asking for that.

*Flashback - I say this happens after he gave his opinion on which way to go forward and his stance on their idea of peace with the Snover in response to Kee's own suggested course of action, and that the above response occurred afterwards (If that makes sense)*

Ran returns their animosity FULL FORCE with a positively molten and mean look of his own, marching right up to them and jabbing a finger into their calf, his own tone quiet, even, but shimmering with frustration.

Down here, in this blatantly and dangerously twisted up place and in any other wild and untamed lands, NOBODY can afford to take such fanciful and hopeful risks like ya one you're proposing, unless they know beyond ALL REASONABLE DOUBT that'll it work out or won't be utterly screw them over if it doesn't. All the potential, POTENTIAL intel we could squeeze out of those Snovers by trying to ain't worth the possibility of them just getting the jump on us and freezing us all solid with Powder Snows or Blizzards if they don't want to play nice and friendly with us OR if things go awry, so better we just Faint the lot and not invite that disaster upon us. If that Attracts any more trouble to us, then we'll take care of it like what we should do with those Christmas trees: with full force."

The dwarven craftsman shakes his head, and then jerked it back towards the direction the stairs were at, his face hard as a rock and just as unyielding.

"No. N. O. If ya want to do be an idiot and have us try to be peacekeepers here, I will have no part in such a foolishness. I'll leave ya to deal with the Snover by yourself, and conduct my own investigations independently from ya, as I rather risk it going it alone than abide by what you're trying to sell me on. His word were less hostile/contemptuous this time, but they were far more firm and unyielding. If Kee was going to try Diplomacy, then Ran was out of there and would go off to investigate the Room past the first set of Doors the group came across in the previous room, with or without anyone else joining him. The bristly blacksmith plain refused and STRONGLY disagreed with the sour dandy's proposal/plan/stance/counterargument, so if they want to try their hand at peace with the Snover, then count him out.
