Let's say it hatched on Day 74 and has already grown by 1hp. You can also have 6XP for it to make up for my neglect.
Or, we could say it was a bit of a late bloomer and will hatch next Encounter, already extra large and a little extra experienced.
Oh. I was just thinking it was taking a long time to hatch, given the circumstances and the species and how big a deal it was (well, not as big a deal as Moltres, obviously)...but uh, okay...
Well, the late bloomer explanation sounds okay to me, I guess.
