The next room is a downward sloping corridor coated in snow with patches of ice. As Karen and Kee travel down it, the wind gets louder, the snowstorm fiercer. The howling wind is starting to make it difficult to hear anything.
It's difficult to tell exactly, but the corridor seems to lead outdoors. It would certainly explain where the blizzard is coming from, at any rate.
That orange, sunset like light is also originating from the end of the corridor, the light bouncing off of the white ice and snow and making the whole corridor the color of dusk.
And upon leaving the corridor, it becomes clear why that light is there, as Karen and Kee suddenly find themselves outside, in the middle of a raging, howling blizzard, barely able to see or hear. They can just barely make out the shapes of a small cabin nearby and some kind of large building farther away, and tall cliffs covered in snow surround the small area. The sun is also setting, casting an orange, dusk colored glow on the otherwise white landscape.
Floor B5?
The door to the cabin opens, and light spills out of it, illuminating the nearby area. A shadowy, hunched figure can be seen in the bright light, and a masculine, elderly voice calls out, somehow able to be heard clearly despite the howling wind masking all other sound.
"Ho there, travelers! This is no time to be outdoors! Come in, come in! A warm fire should do you some good!"
