[Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery
Welp, looks like the group has at least one last big battle with some Abomasnow and their mob before we 'clear' the Snowpoint Temple (and everything else that got connected to it) , so let's review over some details that's been given by 'Gene' about them + general info on the species itself before we Clash with them:

- An unspecified number of the group has Soundproof (Or all of them have it as an second Ability), which means that no Sound Based Attacks will work against them. This mainly means that our Chatots ain't gonna do squat against them and a number of Kee's Pokemon are going to be adversely affected (probably, given his team seems to be heavily sound/music based), and therefore they shouldn't be picked for the fight or work around have to be brainstormed for them to work
- We got two Abomasnow that have more or less kept Sinjoh Ruins under total lockdown with the blizzards they've been whipping up. It's likely that at least one of them has the actually Blizzard Move, and if not that they have Icy Wind, Powder Snow, and Razor Leaf for potent Spread Damage (With Icy Wind being rather debilitating, since the - 1 DEX it inflicts is really, REALLY bad debuff).
- The Abomasnows or Snovers could have access to SHEER COLD , which could be a potent 1st Action tactic if they have either + 10D6 Dice or are willing to dedicate a Single Action to ensuring better odds they get off. Recommend Conditional Orders to dodge out of the way of Sheer Colds, just in case.
- THE SNOVER LINE HAS ACCESS TO SLEEP WITH GRASS WHISTLE. Its highly inaccurate and possibly draws on a non-standard Contest Accuracy Pool (And therefore is likely REALLY inaccurate unless Dragonstrike specs some of them just to use GW), but those mean winter greens can still make our Pokemon take snow naps, so beware!
- The fact they have Mist means that debuffing them is likely not going to work unless most of the group's debuffers Move before ANY of the trees do, so keep that in mind. They also have Ingrain, which will be annoying to deal with since its Leftovers: The Move for the Pokemon.
- Swagger is potentially disruptive, since it takes away a LOT of Accuracy, but it's possibly even more deadily if they decide to use it on themselves during/prior to the battle. + 2 STR at the cost of Confusion isn't a terrible trade off, especially if you have a lot of Accuracy, so it's a tactic the Abomasnow/Snover could employ.
- Finally and most obviously, Hail is going to be in CONSTANT effective due to ALL the Snover line's Snow Warning, so they'll be especially tough on the Physical end and have perfectly Accurate Blizzards, and everyone else will be suffering chip Damage at the end of Rounds except Ice Types. Pokemon with the capability to change the weather are therefore ideal to bring along, but given the fact that 'Gene' explicitly stated the Abomasnow mob has been trying to create a perpetual blizzard state, a weather war re-enactment might end up taking place.

With all that in mind, how do you guys plan best take on the Abomasnow and Snover? I'm thinking of sticking to Brigid and Catherine for their strong Offense and Debilitation each provides myself, but I'm also thinking about using my last Mystery Pokemon instead, as it can really screw around with these frigid plants with it's unique toolkit. If I do, fair warning: it's HIGHLY Disobedient and dislikes other Pokemon immensely, so if they do get sent out, it might be best to have your Pokemon recalled before hand or well out of the way before hand.

As for the Revitalizing Soup, I'm fine with Ran's Pokemon missing out on one of the extra 4 portions of it, so that's a few less mouths to fight over the grub!
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
