"Karen, lemme see if I can't get ya free." she then tries to forcibly move the ball off of the stage.

As soon as Karen moves the orb off of the stage (which meets no resistance whatsoever), an almost blinding, pinkish/magenta light fills the room! Once it clears, a small, pixie like pokemon with two tails and magenta colored 'hair' is happily flying around the room, their voice now able to be heard by everyone.

Wooooooohooooooo!!!!! Yeeeeessssss!!!!  FREEEEEDOOOOOMMM!!!! Thank you thank you thank you thank yooooouuuuu!!!

That elicits a sharp and immediate reaction from the wee man, initially gawking in pure surprise and wonder that his inklings about those lights were beyond confirmed with THE Mespirt's freedom.....before their/her? LOUD sheer elation and exuberance  gives him a stinging headache, which greatly diminished the rapturous state he was in into mild yet happy annoyance.

"Oy, Mespirt! Tone down ya volume a wee bit, will ya? I know ya just tinkled pink at being free to frolic as ya please, but you don't have to drill that feeling into us!"

Catherine (Who was in a similar state of awe at THE Mespirt's ) sharply turned her head to give her partner a dumbfounded and ever so slightly horrified look at him being so....so casual and informal with a LIVING LEGEND. That was the LAST reaction she expected out of the normally serious and stern man! Oh nooo, this could end BADLY, if they took offense to such disrespectful behavior!

Ran, of course, noticing his gelid gal's  , and let out an affable enough laugh and patted their shoulders to calm them down and whispered some words of comfort.

"Relax, Catherine. The Lake Sprites aren't uptight and fro fro like some other Legends, or monstrous beasts like other ones, so ya don't have to be too formal around them. Or grovel in supplication, thank Heatran. They're a polite and friendly sort, unless ya do something to piss them off. If ya do.....best hope they be merciful, or are quick with the punishment."

*Shrugs*

" Least, that's what I've read up on them. May be wrong, but......"

He looks at the joyous Mespirt, and grins , their own positivity  positively infectious.

"....I don't think they'll mind me words too much. Just a feeling I have....or maybe their's. "
