Quote Dragon:
Alright, since it appears to me the messaging board is still on the bend in terms of messaging, I'll keep my post brief and concise as I can manage:
To Uxie in Priviate:
- Ran would tsk at the semi-non answer they gave him about the Lost Metals in private, but would accept it graciously in the end. That would lead to the following question of where a/the Heatran was hiding away, as he's been looking for one of the molten buggers for AGES.
- He'd be much more pleased by their second answer, and happily give his thanks to them.
- Third and finally, his expression would darken as he a personal thought arose, which would prompt him to calmly and carefully ask if they know where a particular Pokemon is at. You know the one I'm talking about, Dragonstrike.
To the Spiritual Trio Prior to Lucas' Arrival:
- Ran would simply accept Uxie's info on the Azure Flute with nonchalance (They would know it/almost everything better than him) , and solemnly nods back to them as they request he keeps it safe, saying more or less that 'I'll guard it with me life, and my afterlife to if that's what it'll take to keep it safe!'
-Overall, he'd express remarkably subdued disbelief at the Trio's conversation, before dragging both his hands down across his face and heaving a HUGE sigh as he realizes that he and his group really was going to tackle a Legendary problem/mystery. Just his luck: gleefully tormenting and thoroughly absurb. Still, he WOULD still commit to the job he signed up for, partially out of professional obligation, partially because he felt that he had to do it or everything's fucked, and partially because the Spiritual Trio and what most likely was Arceas themselves were putting him up to the task, and you can't really say no to them for a variety of reasons. Ran doesn't consider himself a hero, and would much rather stick to more mundane jobs and travels, but if he had to rise up and go beyond his known limits to solve this Mystery and save the region, then he would.
- Finally, he'd ask again about the Red Chain (How is up to you), and then inquire if their's anything they could do to restore some of their lost Strength and power to them before they made it?
To Lucas:
- Ran would be fairly surprised to see them of all places here, and question why to himself before realizing that he was probably here for similar reasons as he and his partners were: investigate Sinjoh Ruins, and see what can be done to fix it/restore the status quo. Then he'd let out a low chuckle at the sheer coincidence of it all (or not; hard to tell what forces are at play this point, in his opinion), and approach them amiably like an old friend.
- Greeting to Lucs: "Neither did I, lad, but this is the sort of happenstance I can get behind! Hah hah, yeah, it sure been an age, and I'm glad to be seeing ya now! How's the trail blazing going, and what precisely are ya doing here? Have a good idea myself, but why rely on me hairbrain hypothesis when I can get that answers straight from source!"
- He's confirm to them he was Ran, and simply explain that Kee was a Unovian musician that somehow got Teleported to Acuity Cave and was now helping them out with their own investigations about they ongoing mystery.
- 'Gene's' commentary would get a heavy sigh from Ran, follow by the simple but pithy comment of "Too much of the wrong kind of interesting, if ya ask me. If I'd known that investigating Snowpoint Temple would lead me all the way here, I'd.....well, I don't know what I'd do, but it probably would be unpleasant, and involve plenty o' swearing. Bah...'
- If no one else does/did this, Ran would give Lucas an abridged version of events that'd recount how and why the group got here, including the battle with the Abomasnow and what the Spiritual Trio told him (if they permit). Simple as that!
Done! Now's time to see how the Legends react!

Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
