Nidoking carelessly demonstrates a Horn Drill on a hapless Nidoran. Thus, Fissure is of limited use, simply adding a bit of range. But teaching it to a larger number of his subjects would help.

Aqua Jet is not on the list, nor Ice Punch. Toxic is actually something they can and will use.

Nidoking adds the Soft Sand to his tribute pile after testing it out with a Drill Run. Same with Poison Barb, although he has a few of those available already. Houndoom Fang is interesting enough to have a bit of value.

A demonstration with the Miracle Rod makes Nidoking intrigued, because most of the dangerous foes are indeed large. He'll personally wield that.

A Circle of Protection would be great, but a single person needs to have Level 7 to achieve that. Or like 20 people of lower level who can do it as a ritual, maybe.


Toxic, Soft Sand, Poison Barb, Houndoom Fang, and most especially the Miracle Rod are enough to make Nidoking certain you can come to some kind of agreement. But he still wants some kind of reliable, general purpose improvement to himself or his kingdom, in addition to those held items. Like teaching a small squad of Nidorino to learn Horn Drill or Fissure, or something of equal value.
