Professor Rowan definitely has an Absol, and he'd be glad to trade them for the Alolan snowshrews. However, they do have degrading value when they all have the same OT and are being traded to the same person, so Randolph trading even more of them to Rowan won't be as lucrative per pokemon.

Alolan Sandshrew and Sandslash aren't native to Sinnoh and there's a lot of them (nothing special about them otherwise), while Absol is simply rare, so I'll give this Absol a 50-50 chance of having a Surprise.

"This Absol was actually hatched around 8 years ago. I'm sure I don't have to explain the significance of that specific time to you, Randolph. In any case, they were the subject of some of my research a few years ago, but that has long since concluded. They're a paranoid sort, and not particularly trustworthy, so I've never been able to fully earn their trust. They are, however, well trained and will usually attempt to warn trainers of coming disasters, even if it means running off on their own initially to try and stop them. The poor thing's been causing quite a fuss lately, probably due to the issues at Mt. Coronet. Maybe getting out and about and doing something about it will help them calm down, though."
