Lunapup recognizes Shiva's smell on you, and comes back with the Cottonee fluff. 

Nathan sighs when he sees that.

Oh well...back to business, then...

Nathan kneels down and gets on Lunapup's level.  "...may I see the other stones like that one that are in there, please?  I'd like to see if I recognize either of them."

Lunapup sniffs your hand, looking to see what you might have to trade.



The Sword is already firmly bonded to Nathan, so you aren't entirely sure what would happen if it were traded. The Scimitars implied it was possible, but not easy.
